Chapter 3: A Typical Morning

My alarm went off the next morning, with the usual unkindly beeping that woke me everyday. I was pissed to get up though, because a.) it was 5:30 am and b.) the alarm had taken me out of the best dream ever. It was about Emmett. I sighed and sleepily went downstairs to the kitchen to eat my amazing breakfast of... Cereal! "Morning Mom." I said with a yawn. She laughed and smoothed my hair back as I sat down. She poured me some cereal, and I ate it sleepily. "Why does school have to start so early Mom?" I complained as I spooned some more Froot Loops into my mouth. "Because it just does! Now hurry up or you're going to be late!" She replied. I finished the rest of my depressing Froot Loops off and hurried upstairs to get dressed.

I threw open my closet doors and quickly pulled out a t-shirt and my favorite skinny jeans. Today is just going to be a normal, relaxed day. I thought. I put them on, brushed my hair and teeth, washed my face and started my makeup. Ten minutes later I was bundled up in my leather jacket and out the door, ready to catch the bus.

Walking down the driveway I wished that I could run back inside. I got to my bus stop, and stood there shivering. My bus stop, by the way, was the end of Parker's driveway. Crap. This is going to be awkward. I thought. A minute or so later Parker came down the driveway and smiled his usual impish grin. "Morning." He said looking straight ahead. "Morning." I replied. We stood there in silence for five agonizing awkward minutes. Then the bus pulled up and saved my mind from reeling out of control. I plopped into a seat in the middle of the bus and put my headphones in. The Fray began to play and I stared out the window for the rest of the ride.

Twenty minutes later we pulled up at school. I got inside the building and walked to my locker. As I entered my hallway, I saw Kalissa standing and talking to some of her friends. Then she saw me, said bye, and came to stand next to me at my locker. "Hey!" She said happily, her chestnut curls bouncing up and down. "Hey!" I replied. Her hair was down and a bit messy but it looked pretty cute on her. She had her usual sweatshirt, jeans, and boots on; with the addition of a new owl necklace. She'd gotten it at the mall last week when we went shopping. I found it a little strange that she was wearing it, because she never wore jewelry. I made a mental note to ask her about it later. "Strangest thing happened to me yesterday, I've got to tell you in study hall!" I said. "Ok! Cool! Well, I've got to go, see you in Spanish!" She said smiling. She turned around and made her way to her first period class. I smiled to myself at the thought of Parker, but then the first bell rang and I slammed my locker shut, sprinting off to English; my first class of the day.

I flew into my seat just before the second bell rang. It was my first class of the day with Emmett. I probably looked like an idiot, running into class so late. He sat right behind me and I wanted to see if he was there so I turned around as if to look at the clock. Much to my disappointment Emmett's seat was empty. As usual.... I thought. He was never in his seat; before or after the bells rang. I looked around and saw him up against the wall talking and laughing with a group of his friends. He looked so hot today. Of course he was popular too, which lessened my chances with him, but didn't mean that I would give up. Tons of other girls in our grade were always throwing themselves at his feet. Most all of them were huge sluts. I hated seeing it happen.

Today he was wearing a blue Hollister shirt, jeans, and a belt which was hanging off at the side. His black hair was like that kind that all Hispanics had. Black and... Kind of pointy I guess. Whatever you called his hairstyle it looked amazing. I realized I was somewhat staring at him and so I turned to the front where my teacher Mrs. Zania was starting class. I let my full attention on her, "I'll be giving you each a writing prompt today, and you will all be writing for the remainder of class." She said. Everyone let out a ton of groans. I like writing, but I do not like forced writing. Especially writing prompts. They annoy the heck out of me.

She began to pass out the prompts and I pulled out a pen and silently waited. When she came to my desk she dropped one of those cursed laminated cards in front of me. I pulled out sheet of paper and then flipped the card over to read my task; groaning inwardly as I did so, scared as to what my fate would be for the day. Oh the agony of having to write forced. JUST KILL ME NOW!!!!!!! I thought.

When I turned it over I found out that my destiny and my fate were laughing in my face. Today's question was so relatively simple.

What would you do if you became famous.

Well that's easy. I would buy a bunch of gummy bears, chicken, and unicorns and I would run around in a field full of flowers on my magical unicorn and eat gummy bears on ice cream.

Or maybe I wouldn't do that.

Either way I mentally gave my teacher the evil eye and began to write.

Ooo what do you guys think?? What would YOU do if you became famous?? Put your answer in the comments! Maybe I'll pick the best one and put it at the beginning of the next chapter who knows!

Ok, so I'm SO SO SO SO SORRY!!!!!!!!!!!! Mostly for leaving this story for about two months, sometimes I can be so rude to my books so I apologize to anyone who is reading this and I deeply apologize to the story itself.

I am making you people a promise that I will attempt to update this every Friday or Saturday from now on because I think that updating it more often will help me with some of my writers problems! Ok, so enough of my blabbering goodbye!
