New Begginings

Chapter 2

I went home with Jake Friday. We had a chemistry project to do, and we both wanted it done. I got the supplies from the store, and Jake got the paint and glue. We needed to make a model of a DNA strand, or a cell. We both agreed on a DNA strand, because it seemed more complex. We finished our project about four hours later, so we decided to watch a movie. Jake sat down on the couch, and I sat next to him. The movie we chose had a slow beginning, so I laid my head on Jake's shoulder. But it felt awkward. I didn't know why. The wrest of the movie was boring so I just fell asleep. I knew that if it became time for me to go home, Jake would wake me.
I woke up the next morning, in the exact same position. With Jake next to me. I bugged Jake, and he sat up.
"Jake I need to go." I whispered.
"I'll walk you home." Jake started to get up, but I pushed him down.
"No. You know how strict my dad is with you. He thinks I have a crush on you." I said.
"Ok. But-" Jake started to say. But I ran out of the door. I check to see if my dad was home. I really wish he wasn't. I walked through my front door, and my dad was asleep in the chair. I went into the kitchen to get something to eat, but I stepped on a loose floor board. Which made my dad pop right up.
"Haily Nicole Springfield! Where were you last night?" My dad yelled.
"In my room. Why?" I tried to sound casual.
"Don't lie to me Haily. Chloe posted a picture of you and Jake on Facebook last night, snuggling or whatever. She titled it forbidden love. Explain that to me." My dad said.
"You can't prove it. I bet your just trying to scare me." I said laughing.
My dad then got up, and showed me a picture on his phone. Chloe is dead!
"Why Haily, why." My dad asked.
"Dad you can trust me, I'm responsible. Nothing happened." I said.
"Well I don't know that. For now, I forbid you to see Jake. I don't know how much I can trust you. I'm sorry." My dad said.
"Then I'll marry him!" I yelled.
"Your 17, your legally not old enough. And I thought you didn't like him like that." My dad replied.
I didn't care anymore. I bolted out of my house, and went over to Jake's. I pounded on the door, and Chloe answered.
"Where's Jake!?" I said pushing Chloe out of the way.
"Sorry, you just missed him." Chloe said. I continued to search.
"Tell me where he is, NOW! This is all your fault!" I screamed.
"What's all my fault?" Chloe said.
"I can't see Jake anymore, because you posted that stupid photo on Facebook." I replied. Chloe sighed. I went into Jake's room, and I heard the door ring.
"Run or hide Haily. If its your dad he's gonna be mad." Chloe warned.
"Hello Mr Springfield." Chloe said.
"Is my daughter here?" My dad asked.
"Sorry I haven't seen her." Chloe said.
"Where's Jake, she might be with him." My dad asked.
"Sorry he's not in the united States. He went to England to visit our cousin." Chloe stated. My dad nodded and left. I then came out of my hiding spot, and walked over to Chloe.
"Thank you." I said.
"You really should go home. Your dad will find you eventually." Chloe said.
"Where is Jake?" I asked.
"He really went to England." Chloe said. I nodded, and sat down on the couch. I didn't know when I was going to leave, but its not going to be anytime soon.
