I was laying in my bed, it was about one in the morning, when my phone buzzed. Fence, now! I then put on a jacket and went downstairs. I opened the back door, and my dad was already outside.
"Hey dad...." I started to say.
"I'll leave you alone. I come out here to take breathers myself. Night kiddo." My dad said as he walked inside. I walked furthest away from the house, as far as the fence leads.
"Jake" I whispered.
"Here" Jake said.
"What did you want to talk to me about earlier?" I asked.
"It's not important anymore. So.... How was your day?"
"Don't try and change the subject. What did you want to tell me?" I continued.
"It's not important." Jake pleaded.
"It is to me. Anything you say to me is important, and anything that happens to us happened for a reason."
"Really?!" Jake questioned.
"Anything?"
"Anything." I said back.
"We'll see about that."
Right after Jake said that, I heard creaking. I looked up and Jake's foot swung over the fence.
"What are you doing!?" I yelled.
"You will see." Jake then jumped down, and took my hands. He moved his hands to my waist, and pulled me closer. He then pulled my head to his, and kissed me.
"Was that important?" Jake asked.
"Maybe if you do it again." I said smiling. Jake then kissed me again. We stood there in silence for about an hour, then Jake broke the silence.
"I have a plan."
