New Begginings

Chapter 3

I decided to go home at nine pm. My dad wasn't home so that was a bonus. I ran home, so if he turned the corner he wouldn't see me. I walked through my door and Kindel was on the phone. "She's home." Kindel said.
"Where were you?"
"Over at Jake's." I replied.
"But dad was just there. He's on a plane to England, he thought you went there." Kindel said.
"What!" I yelled.
Kindel nodded. He reached his hand out to mine, but I pulled back.
"You don't know what it's like, having your only friend taken away from you!" I yelled.
"Haily where did that come from?"
"Jake was my only friend. He was my everything. He is my everything!" I said with tears dripping down my face. I ran to my room, too embarrassed to be with Kindel.
I don't know how long I was in there, until one of the twins came in.
"Haily. Dad is on the phone. He wants you." My youngest brother Michel said.
"Ok" I said getting off my bed. I walked into the kitchen where my other brother Logan was, talking to my dad.
"Give me the phone" I said grumpily.
Logan handed me the phone, and I took it.
"Hello" I said sarcastically.
"What were you thinking Haily!" My dad yelled through the phone.
"I don't know. I wasn't thinking."I said.
"Well you need to learn to think." My dad said.
"I was doing it for love! You don't know what it's like having your only friend taken away from you! Someone you trust with your life!" I yelled. I don't know what I was getting myself into.
"Yes I do Haily. I felt that way with your mother." My dad replied calmly.
I sighed. I completely forgot about my mother.
"But there was nothing we could do about that. There is something I could do with Jake." I hung up the phone, I didn't want to talk any more. It was ten pm, so I decided to go to bed.
