* Two Weeks Later *

I sat amoung the other families of the students who were graduating today. I was so proud of my baby, she was sat at the front since the gaps between the chairs were too small for her bump. Being eight and half months pregnant now meant we only had two weeks left until we got to meet our little girls.

"Sorry we're late", i heard Cass say as she sat down, "Theo decided to fill his nappy just as we got here". Giving Cass a peck on the cheek, giving a hand shake to Leo and making a funny face at Theo, i turned to face the front as the princple began calling the students up one by one.

It seemed to go on forever until August was called. I watched her climb the four steps to the stage and shake the princples hand before posing for us to take pictures. I cheered at the top of my lungs, "Woohoo August, i love you baby!", her cheeks turned a bright pink which i captured on my camera.

The ceremony lasted another hour, speeches were made and flowers were given to teachers the students loved. It was a lovely ending to a perfect ceremony. But the peace didn't last for long since we all heard a cry and than my name being shouted. "Blake!", i rushed to where August was sitting a wet puddle underneath her chair, only shit. "The babies", August breathed out before screwing her face up and gritting her teeth. "Owwwww", she cried out holding her stomach as tears rushed down her face. "Okay baby, just breath", i said picking her up and cradling her in my arms. "What's happening?, is she alright?", Cass asked looking frantic at me. "The babies are coming". With that Cass grabbed Leo who was holding Theo and explained what was happing. "We'll meet you there", i nodded and rushed to my car just as a young girl came rushing over breathing hard. "Oh sweet baby jesus, are they coming?", she asked, i nodded my head, i realised it was Hazel, August's only true friend. "I'm coming with you", i didn't bother saying no, i quickly placed August into the back, Hazel climbing in with her, i jumped into the front and drove off as quickly as i could.

Ten minutes later and one ear drum brust we arrived at the hospital, i pulled up at the entrance and climbed out. Rushing in i grabbed the nearest nurse on her shoulders.

"Please, my girlfriend is having our babies", with a nod she followed me outside, grabbing a wheelchair on the way. "What's her name?", the nurse asked as i opened the back door of the car. "My name is August, now get them out of me!". she cried out. I felt so bad as i watched un-able to help with the pain. "Sir you're going to have to move your car". I nodded and waited until the nurse disappeared inside with August and Hazel hot on her heels.

Findind a parking place was proving to be a nightmare, after ten minutes and the fear i would miss the birth of my first children, i finally found one.

By the time i made it back to the entrance Cass was there minus Leo and Theo. "Come on she is screaming for you". Rushing down the corridor i heard her screaming my name. When i opened the door i was greeted by what i can only describe as my worst nightmare. "August was looking at me like she wanted to kill me before pain ripped through her and she cried out reaching for me. I took her hand, she squeezed the hell out of it. "It hurts, make it stop", she pleaded, i looked at the midwife who was inbetween her legs. "Can you give her anything for the pain?", i asked, she shook her head. "She is took far gone, i'll be wanting her to push in the next two minutes".

Twenty minutes later the room was filled with cries, two healthy baby girls were crying as they were being wiped down and wrapped in baby pink blankets. "Congratulations", the midwife said handing the first baby to August and the second to me. I gazed down at my daughter who had her eyes closed and her little mouth in a pout, she looked adorable. Looking over at August she was looking down at our other daughter smiling as tears rolled down her cheeks, she glanced up at me before whispering. "Thank you Blake", i smiled before leaning down and pressing my lips to her sweaty forehead. "No thank you baby, i love you so much".

After placing a now named Grace into her mom's arms i went into the corridor to tell Cass and Hazel. But when i got there my parents were there. "What are you doing here?", i asked, my happiness now cut short. "Son please", my dad pleaded, i had no problem with him being here but my mom was another story. "We have a right", my mom said before looking behind me as if she could see into the room. "No you don't, you lost that right the moment you turned on my fiance", my parents gasped before tears welled in my mom's eyes. "Your engaged?", i nodded. "Why didn't you say?". I didn't answer instead i turned to my sister and August's best friend. "They both arrived safely, you can go on in". I didn't need to tell them twice, they both hugged me, congratulating me before disappearing into the room.

"I think you both should leave", i said turning to my parents. I knew my dad didn't agree with how my mom had acted but i knew if he saw them my mom would cause trouble until she saw them. "Please Blake", mom pleaded, "Look mom, for the whole of August's pregnancy you were against her calling her names and refusing to help out, now she doesn't trust you, until she agrees you won't be able to see your grandbabies". With that i turned and walked into the room holding my family.
