"Ask away." I said calmly sipping on my wine.
"I know all of this is crazy. But I'm so glad you're here- you make me so happy. I think that's obvious, but- all I want more than anything is to make you happy too." He spoke slightly nervously.
"You do." I said softly
He acknowledged my words with a slight smile and continued talking.
"I never thought I'd be engaged so soon but- there's no one else I'd rather do this with than you." He said, melting my heart.
He stood up from the table. "If we're going to do this, we should do it right."
He kneeled down and pulled out a tiny jewelry box from his jacket.
My head caught up with my eyes as I didn't expect him to actually propose. The sight made my heart stop.
"Oh my god." I whispered unable to actually speak.
I glanced around seeing people around us starting to take notice.
"Quinn Caverly. Will you marry me?" He beamed as he spoke and the gesture brought unwilling tears to my eyes that clouded my vision.
"Yes." Was all I could managed as I felt frozen in place. My huge smile contrasted the fact that I was almost crying.
He slipped a gorgeous diamond ring onto my hand and I pulled him up to me and threw my arms around him.
Everyone cheered and clapped around us but I was distracted from the embarrassment.
"You didn't have to do this." I whispered into his ear.
"I wanted to. For you." He replied
"Thank you." I bit my lip holding back from busting up crying.
