MINGYU POV (Still Flashbacking)

"OMMA! OMMA!" I cried as the doctors took her into the operation room

I waited outside the room with Appa..

"Appa.. Omma will be alright right? Right?" I asked

Appa stood up then walked away.

"A-Appa! Where are you going? Yah!" I called

"I'm leaving. I have no business here" Appa said

My eyes widened...

I ran to Appa and grabbed onto his shirt.

"What's that suppose to mean! Are you saying you don't care?" I asked

"Let go..." Appa said

"Appa! Do you not love us anymore?" I asked

"Let go!" Appa said

"APPA!" I cried

"I SAID LET GO!" Appa shouted, raising his hand in the air

I shut my eyes.

I didn't feel anything..

I opened my eyes and saw a doctor in front of me.

"W-What the--Who are you?!" Appa asked

I saw the doctor's glasses on the floor...

Did he.. cover me?

"How disgraceful. What kind of father would abandon their wife like that and slap their own child who's simply asking you questions" The Doctor said

I looked at the name tag.

"Like I said Who are you--" Appa asked

"I'm a doctor here and I was operating on your wife. Apparently, she fainted due to a weak heart. Did she always have a weak heart and poor health?" The Doctor asked

"H-How should I know--" Appa said

"YOU SHOULD KNOW. She's your wife" The Doctor said

"Shut up! I don't care! Come on, we're going hom--" Appa said grabbing my hand but then was abruptedly stopped by The Doctor's grip.

"Mianhe sir but this boy is staying here with his mother" The Doctor said

"Mwoh? He's my child--" Appa said

"Really now? From what I see, it seems like he's just your stress ball. You abuse your family don't you? Both wife and child. I saw many scars on that woman and this boy seems to be bruised all over" The Doctor said

"Mind your own business--" Appa said

"This is my business. My patient is being abused and her child aswell. If I want, I can sue you" The Doctor said

"Go ahead! Do whatever! I don't care" Appa shouted then ran off

"A-Appa!" I called

....He left..

The Doctor bended down and picked up his glasses.

He placed it back on then looked at me.

He smiled and took out a tissue, wiping my tears.

"Kwenchana?" The Doctor asked

"Neh.. but your cheek.." I said

It's red... from the slap..
