[Back to Kelly]
They stood up from behind a huge metal parts on the ground. I stared at them, waiting for them to at least speak up. Finally, Jacob spoke,"Look we can't have you going by yourself. Please, come back."
I sighed, looking at the corpses on the ground. "Okay, but get me a shovel." They all looked at me as if I was crazy. "They may be bad, but that doesn't mean they can't rest in peace." I added.
The guys went in and came out with few shovels. I questionly looked at them. "Um, guys. I only have a pair of hands." I said holding up my hands. They snorted. "We're helping you, dork."
I didn't say anything and just accepted their help. We dug up holes and pushed the bodies inside. As they covered the bodies, I took a large pieces of metal and carved, 'the six demon's grave'. I planted the metal on the ground and prayed.
When I was done, they waited for me at the warehouse. I blew another sigh and walked up to them. I sat in one of the red couches and listened to them apologize about before. It went on for five to six minutes non-stop.
All they went on were, "I'm sorry blah blah blah.", "I'm sorry this, I'm sorry that." I was growing sleepy from the various versions of I'm sorry. I almost nodded off to sleep when they finished.
"You guys should know that you don't really need to apologize, right? It didn't really mattered if you did or not." I said, not even bothering to give a smile. They all gave me a warm welcome and introduced themselves to me.
Melissa showed me to my room, which was a better than how I dreaded. It had a normal plain bed, a wooden table with two chair set up, and a wardrobe as tall as the ceiling.
"I'm sorry this is your room. I'll get the others to get you a better one." She apologized. I shook my head with a gleeful smile. "No don't bother yourself with that. I really hate those fancy rooms. Too much of a pain."
She was surprised at my comment. "I think we should go shopping tomorrow, since you don't have any cothes on you. Do you mind borrowing ours?" I looked around and shook my head. "No, I'm fine."
"But your clothes are covered with blood and torn." she said, pionting at my dress. I sighed looking at it. "And this was a cute one too. I chose the wrong day to wear it."
"Come on, er... You haven't told us your name was."
"Kelly," I said, "Kelly Morgan. "
"Kelly, you can't seriously just wear that everyday."
"Trust me, I'm fine."
"But-"
I pushed her out of the room and closed it behind her. I took out my pack marble. I touched the white mark and held it up in the air again. All of my thing went to the appropriate place, leaving me bored with nothing else to do. I remembered to place a sige of "Beware of Traps" on the door. I had to dodge the traps a placed, just to get to the door. That's how intense my work out everyday is.
Kaden noticed me nailing the sign on the door, and walked over to me. "What are you doing now?"
"Placing a 'Beware' sign on my door."
He snorted. "What, that guys will attack you in your sleep, raping you?" I shook my head. "I just don't like people entering my room without permission. Plus, it'll kill them."
"How's that going to kill them?" he asked, still thinking as a joke. I crouched down and openned the door. An arrow launched right next to his head, pinning his shirt to the wall. He was now frightened by my room. I closed the door and took off the arrow. "That's why. These arrows can kill almost anyone."
He stood up and dusted off his shoulder. "Well, give me a warning next time." he puffed.
"Then why don't you warn everyone else? I don't think I have time to do that."
He said nothing and walked away. I placed my hand on the doorknob firmly and opened it.
Traps launched their full speed. Because of that, I learned to see things attack slowly. I layed in bed and pressed on my trap disposer, which was moved to the side of the small table next to my bed. I went to my wardrobe and picked out a tank top and shorts to change into.
The door suddenly openned as I took off my shirt. It was Jacob.
"Hey, Melissa told me about-" he saw my body and closed the door almost immediately. "I'm so sorry. I should've knocked." I heard him said outside. I blushed at that. I had totally forgotten to lock the door. I quickly changed and openned the door.
"Be lucky my traps weren't set off, or else you would've been dead meat." I warned. He was red in embarrassment, but said, "Melissa told me you didn't need any clothes from her and I-" he stopped when he looked up. My room were already decorated with my stuff.
"How did you get those in your room?"
"I told you I had to pack."
"But you didn't bring a suitcase."
"I have my ways."
He chuckled, "Really mysterious. "
"So do you need anything else?" I said, ready to close the door on him.
"Oh yeah, uh... dinner's ready." he said smiling. I frowned,"Sorry, I'm not hungry right now. Thanks for telling me anyways."
He looked disappointed, "Um okay then." I gave him a smile to be polite."Good night."
"Good night."
When I closed the door, I let out a relieved sigh. I was a bit hungry, but I didn't feel like eating. I reached under the bed and took out a violin case. I played a little lullaby, feeling a breeze in the room. Then I remembered what I did to David. I took a golden marble with a cross carved on it.
I locked the door and sat on the chair. I placed a towel in my mouth so I won't bite myself. I chanted his name in my head on the marble. It glowed and then a huge pain arose on my arms.
