Chapter Two
We pulled into a driveway and right infront of us was a gorgoues two story house.
"Wow!!" Danny said looking out the window. Mom pushed a button in the car and the garage opened up.
"Did you have that put in here?" Jake asked.
"Well yeah." Mom said. "How else would we get it open without getting out?" Jake shrugged and we pulled into the two door garage. Dad would have fun in here. I thought. My dad loved working on stuff. He was always trying to fix something or build something. Danny would help him sometimes on the simple stuff. I wrapped my ear buds around my iPhone and hopped out of the car. I grabbed my bag out of the floor board and stuck my phone in. Mom and dad were already at the front door. Jake helped Dan out of his booster seat and we all walkedover to them.
"So who's ready to see our new home?" Dad asked.
"I DO!!" Danny yelled. I laughed at him and looked at dad, waiting on him to open the door. He unlocked it and we all entered. It was beautiful. To the left was what I assumed to be the living room, to the right, the dining room. strait in front was the stairs. Danny ran forward and up a few of the stairs. "Stairs!!" He yelled.
"Boy he's gonna have fun on those." I said to Jake.
"I know right." He replied.
"Ok, kids," I looked at dad as he spoke. "Go pick your rooms!" He moved his arms towards the stairs.
"I call biggest one!!" I yell.
"Not unless I find it first!" Jake said before moving infront of me.
"Please, guys, I'm getting the biggest one!" Danny said, ahead of the both of us. Being faster than both of them, I reached the first one first. I opened the door. I was a pretty good size. By the time Danny and Jake got to the first room I was already at the second. It was a little bigger than the first but I moved on to the next room. It was the biggest. It had a seat at the window and a huge closet. Obviouly a girl's room.
"I call this one!" I said closing the door and leaning against it.
"Let us see." Jake said, reaching the door knob. I slapped his hand away.
"Nuh-uh." I said shaking my head.
"Why not?" He asked putting his hands on his hips.
"Cuz it's my room." I said. "It's obviously a girls room." I added. Danny grabbed my hand.
"Pleeeeeeease let me see it?" He asked giving me his puppy dog eyes. I sighed.
"Fine. But it's MY room." I said opening the door.
"Wow!!" Danny said. "It looks great, but you're right it is more of a girly room."
"Yeah I say the same." Jake said looking around.
"Ok guys go fight over the other two." I said shooing them out.
"I call second biggest!!" Danny yelled. He got to the second room before Jake did.
"It's alright man. You can have it." Jake said ruffling Dan's hair. Mom and Dad came up the stairs.
"Each of you ot your rooms?" Dad asked.
"Yeah! They're awesome!" Danny yelled. We all giggled at him.
"Well let's go get the stuff out of the van and then I'll order some dinner." Mom said heading back downstairs. I took my phone out of my bag and saw a text from Jess.
'Hey :) Saw the moving van. mayI come over? or r yall busy?' It said. I had told Jess where we were moving to and she lived right down the street. I was glad cuz she promised when school started back she would show me around and meet new people and make new friends.
