Chapter Four
Jess pulled up to my house and let me out. She was going to go to her house and change for the bonfire after she dropped me off. I shut the door and she spoke up.
"Ok. So you go in and change and I'll pick you up in the Kaiser, k?"
"Alright girl." I said smiling. I turned to walk away but she called me again.
"Yeah?" I said.
"Where something that's gonna get guys attention." She winked at me.
"Oh hush." I laughed and she laughed with me. She pulled out of my driveway and I ran inside. "Hey mom." I said as I passed her going up the stairs.
"Hey honey did you have fun out with Jess?" She asked.
"Yeah." I started to show her the glasses I got but then realized I left them in Jessica's car. I ran in my room and sent her a guick text telling her to bring them. She replied with an 'ok' and I tossed my phone onto my bed. I went to my dresser and pulled a red-orange tank top and desided to just keep my shorts on. I went to my closet and grabbed my turqouise denim vest. I grabbed my sea green Vans from the floor of the closet and slipped them on. I went to my desk and grabbed my hair straightener. While I waited on it to get hot, I painted my nails. I painted them a sparkly turqouise and painted my ring finger hot pink. By that time the straightener was hot and I added some waves to my hair. I slightly brushed it afterwards making my hair smooth and less wavy. I went to my jewlery box and grabbed a few bracelets and slid them on, I grabbed my galaxy neckalace and clipped it around my neck. I checked myself in the stand up mirror. I smiled when I heard a horn outside my window. I looked out and saw Jessica's blue Kaiser Drag'n in the driveway. I grabbed my phone and stuck it in my pocket. I skipped down the stairs and into the kitchen where my mom was looking for something in the kitchen.
"I'm off mom." I told her and gave her a hug.
"Bye, honey. See you later." She said.
"Bye." I ran to the door and outside. I saw my dad standing with Jess beside her car, Jess scrathing my dog - Rocky's - head. He was a black great dane-boxer mix. He's a sweetheart. He looks like one of those dogs that would be mean but he's not.
"Hey Jess." I said and hugged my dad. He hugged me back.
"Well we're gonna go. Don't wanna be late for the bonfire." Jess smiled and opened her door. "Bye Rocky!" She said in a baby voice and I giggled. "Bye Mr. Pond." She said and got in. She started the car and Made in the USA by Demi Lovato came on the radio. We pulled out of the driveway. Before Jess turned up the radio she said:
"It's about a 30 minute drive to the party, k?"
"Alright." I smiled and she smiled turning up the radio.

We pulled into a long driveway filled with cars.
"This is it." Jessica said smiling. She pulled up next to a white Herbie. A girl with blond hair came running to Jessica's side of the car and opened her door.
"Glad you could make it girl!" She said as Jessica got out. Someone opened my door and I looked up to see Ryan's smiling face. I smiled when I saw him and got out. Music was blasting from speakers around the house.
"Hey girl." He said and gave me a hug. "Nice outfit." He smiled.
"Thank you." I said giving him a little twirl, which he laughed at.
