Chapter 2: Class

Astrid's POV

      I went the opposite direction as Hiccup. I didn't feel good when I saw him so I skipped the first class

and sat down at the back of the school. I could still remember those emerald, green eyes it

made me shiver, not the kind of shiver you do when your scared but a different kind. I shook my

head and read " The Chronicles of Narnia" for a while until I heard the bell rang, I packed my

stuff up and went to Science class. When I came I sat in a empty desk there was another one next

to me but all the people ignored me. I was cool with it because I know I would have to hear their

nasty comments if they were close to me. I saw Hiccup coming and all the girls trying to fix their hair

especially Elsa. When he came both our eyes interlocked with each other it was only one second that

we did that and I looked away but it felt like if we were staring at each other for forever also I saw Elsa

and she gave me a death glare and a warning. Hiccup was about to sit next to me and I panicked Elsa

went in front of him and let him sit next to her. That is the only time I was relieved of her doing that.

When the teacher came I mostly knew the concept so I daydreamed about my future or future job until I

heard the teacher call me "Astrid, can you tell me the answer to my question" with a smirk in his face "The

Adenine, Thymine are the DNA base pairs and also Guanine and Cytosine." I said making the teacher take

his smirk off his face. I could hear and daydream it's like a special power I have. When the teacher told us to

do our independent practice he gave a special announcement. "I have planned to give you a whole year

project with a partner," everybody groaned "Your partners would be Elsa and Alex; Kelsey and Maria (to

lazy to say the other names) ... and finally Astrid and Hiccup." When I heard that my head was getting

dizzy and I saw Elsa give me 'I am going to kill you' faces. I also saw Hiccup smirk at me, at that moment

my life was ruined by the science teacher curses.

Hiccup's POV
  I was so happy to hear my partner was Astrid because I could finally make it up to her. When the teacher

said to sit with your partners it felt like the best day ever, I sat down with Astrid and the teacher assigned

projects for the other students when he came to us he told Astrid " Do you believe in love," she said no.

Without hesitating he said " I know feelings are not science related but I want you to learn about each other

and see every kind of information the person has." He left before Astrid would complain, so I looked at

her and she looked at me "Why don't we start over," she scoffed at my answer and she said " Do you think

it's that easy," " Hey, the past is the past and I want to start over and also if you don't forgive me you can fail

science because your my partner." I said while smirking, she gave in and I was so happy and at that time the

bell rang and we packed our things. I had to say one more thing to Astrid " Let's meet at your house at 3:00"

I gave her my phone number and walked to the lunch room without looking back because I knew she would

be shocked.
