Hiccup's POV
I kissed Astrid on the lips but I could tell she was shock on what I did, I didn't know if she felt comfortable so I broke the kiss before anyone could see us, I looked at her and said "Now can you tell me what's wrong," "Nothing's wrong," she said.
I took her by the arm and I saw her wince in pain, it made me curious so I took her sweater off but she refused. It took me a couple of minutes but I got it out and saw many scars and bleeding knife cuts.
"Who did this to you," I said with an angry voice. She didn't respond so I calmed down and said "Astrid please tell me who did this to you." "Elsa's friends," I could see the fear she had in her eyes. I hugged Astrid and took her to my house.
When we got home I went to the bathroom and took out the first aid kit and put those alcohol wipes in her arm, Astrid whimpered because of the pain. Then, I wrapped a cold wet cloth to stop the stinging.
When we were done we went to my bedroom and I said "why?" "Well, maybe I am with one of the boys that are popular and is dating my sister and also KISSED ME," she said with an angry tone.
"What was I supposed to do, you were going to walk away," I said back. We just stood there and I took her hand and told her, "It was her friends,right" Astrid nodded hesitantly.
My hands turned into fist and my knuckles were already white, Astrid looked worried and said "you know it's only my fault because I could've switched partners and this wouldn't happen."
"Don't say that, I actually think you were the right person to be my partner," I could see the hope and optimism in Astrid's eyes. I didn't know why she wasn't taken and why her sister always bullies her.
I could go on and on but I wouldn't have an answer about what she thinks so I had to say it, but
Astrid cuts in.
"Hiccup we should go," "No, Astrid I have to tell you something," I said. "Why not tomorrow," she said impatiently, she opened the door.
I went to her and said "it won't take long and it's important," "says the one who doesn't think bullying is not ok," "I did it for a reason" "if it is to be popular, it worked" she said
I couldn't take it anymore, I caught up to an angry Astrid and said "You definitely are wrong, my reason was.........
