*Taylor's POV*After the power went out, Dallas called explaining that he was at a friends house and that he was going to spend the night there. Last night Corey and I stayed up and talked about where we would go after high school. We had settled on schools that would be near each other yet still had the programs that we liked. This morning we ended up not going to school seeing that the electricity was still out. The power came back half way through the day so we watched movies and ate popcorn. My parents came back mid-movie session and Dallas was in his room since he had been back from his friends house this morning.
"Hey guys, let's play video games!" Dallas yells as he bursts into my room.
"Not right now!" Corey says.
"What? Why not man?"
"I want to hang out with my girlfriend" Corey replied, putting emphasis on the word girlfriend.
"Eww! I didn't think a date would lead to that. She's my sister!"
"Oh stop whining. I practically had to beg you to distract her during our video game competition so I could take her on the date I spent forever planning." Corey says grinning, as I let out an over exaggerated gasp.
"No wonder I lost! I knew I was good." I mutter bitterly.
"Well it landed you a date with me." Corey says cheekily.
"Yeah that's true, but it would've been a date either way remember?" I say before I kiss his cheek.
"Yeah, but I wanted to take you out on the date to win you over!" He said, smiling widely.
"Okay losers, let's play now!" Dallas yells.
"Alright, alright calm it." I say while Corey grunts beside me clearly agitated.
After playing a few games my parents came into the gaming room and said their hello's to Corey. They asked us if we would like pizza, and we all agreed to it without a second thought.
*Half an Hour Later*
"Yes! The pizza is here!" Dallas screamed as the doorbell rang.
"Oh gosh that kid is insane!" I yelled hoping he would hear it from where he was.
"He's a growing boy, Tay." Corey chuckles.
"More like a growing pig."
"I heard that!" Dallas screams.
"You were supposed to!" I reply just as loud.
"You guys crack me up" Corey says laughing, and clutching his stomach.
"Ok dig in guys" Dallas says with a mouth full of pizza.
"Close your mouth when you eat!" I say.
"Yeah, yeah" He waves me off as he stuffs his face again.
After we finished eating we sat in the living room and watched random shows that looked interesting, until Dallas opened his mouth again.
"So since you guys are 'dating' and all, when am I becoming an uncle?" Dallas asks excitedly.
"Not anytime soon" I dead panned.
"Aww why not?" Corey asks childishly.
"Yeah why not Taylor?" Dallas cries, wiping the nonexistent tear under his eye.
"Guys quit it!" I groan, blushing profusely.
"Fine, I'll wait." Dallas says gloomily. I laugh at his facial expression along with Corey.
"Alright I better go, it's getting late. I'll see you two tomorrow!" Corey says winking at me before giving me a kiss.
"Yeah, we will." I say and lead him to the door.
"Yeah, bye Corey." Dallas yells, and Corey yells a bye in reply to him.
"Okay so the plan is still on tomorrow right?" Corey asks tentatively.
"As far as I know, yes. I'll have to get back to Kara and Jake on that though." I say uncertainly.
"Right. Well goodnight Tay." Corey says, giving me a smile and a kiss.
"Goodnight Corey." I say before shutting the door and locking it.
"I like that boy." My mom says as I walk into the kitchen.
"So do I." I say dreamily.
"No boy is good enough for my princess." My dad mutters under his breath. I can't help but laugh at his child like behaviour.
"Give the boy a break! He treats her well and she likes him." My mother explains.
"Yeah, yeah I know he's a good guy. I just hate seeing my baby girl grow up so quickly." He says sadly.
"I'll always be your little girl, dad." I say truthfully. He walks up to me and hugs me, then leaves a kiss on my forehead.
"I know, well you better get ready for bed, goodnight." He says.
"Goodnight mom and dad."
"Goodnight sweetie." My mom says hugging me.
"Night dweeb!" I yell towards Dallas.
"Hey! I'm not a dweeb!"
"Okay fine, night loser."
"Hey! I'm not a lo-"
"Oh give it a rest will you two?" My dad cuts him off.
"Sorry, night Dallas." I say finally before ruffling his hair quickly.
"Yeah whatever, night." He grumbles before trudging up the stairs with me ahead of him.
I fall asleep thinking about the fact that tomorrow is the day that we would follow through with the plan. I can only hope that it will work out well for everyone, but I don't want to have my expectations high and be disappointed. This is for Jake, and we have to do everything in our power to help him! I know Corey wasn't fond of him before, I wasn't either but now we get along well and he is important to us. I guess we'll just have to go with the wind and hope that everything turns out right.

Exams are finally over! I wish I could say that I did well on all of them but sadly that isn't the case. It's okay though, I will never hate Chemistry even if it slaps me in the face - which it did.
Have a nice day. =)
