The smell of metal filled the icy cold night, dark clouds filled the air but left a circle around the bright moon. A (h/l) (h/c) girl whimpered as another glass shard hit her, this time under her closed left eye.

"That's what you get for not listening you little runt." You mother growled at you before walking away, leaving you on the floor. Your mind was clear, but your heart wasn't. It twisted in pain and you thought it was going to explode from the torture you were receiving. Whenever this happened, you would get flashbacks, reasons why you should hate your mom. Suddenly it felt like ice was coursing through your veins. You knew exactly what this meant.

'Please let this pain be over soon.' You sobbed in your head, then it went black.

-Flashback (Your age is 4)-

"Mommy, when is daddy coming home?" You asked your mom. Your mom looked at you as her pale gray, almost white, eyes stared warmly at you.

"He'll be home in three minutes, why do you ask sweetie?" Your mother asked.

"Because I made him something." You giggled as you took the picture you drew out of your pants pocket and gave it to your mother. She took it and lifted you up, you smiled widely as you looked at the picture you drew. It was you, your father and your mother holding hands, and at the top in big glittery blue letters was 'I love my family :)' . As you heard a knock on the door, your mother put you down and handed you your picture. "Go get daddy." She said smiling.

"Daddy's home!" You giggled as you opened the door for him only to see him with another girl and kid. "Mommy, someone else is here..." You called out while backed away. Your father tried to hug you back you backed away more, scared that the people behind him would take you away. As you heard footsteps coming behind you, your father backed away a little bit, his hair flying over the place from the storm outside.

"Who are these people mister?" Your mother demanded, her pale gray eyes narrowing at suitcases in the other woman's hands.

Your father ignored her. "I'm here to take (y/n) with me to my house." Your mother's eyes widened so much that it looked like they were going to pop out.

"W-what?.... You can possibility be serio-" your mother tried to talk but only got cut off by a large clap of thunder that made your mother jump in fright.

"Look, I found someone else that's not always busy and always paying attention to our daughter. Don't make this any harder then it has to be." Your father said calmly, but at the end of the first sentence it sounded like he was giving a warning. You just gazed up at your parents with bright blue eyes, your father looked at you and widened his eyes at your eyes. "Also, why does she still have her blue eyes? They were supposed to change by now." Your father growled at your mother, a shiver jolted up your spine, promising something bad was going to happen.

"How would I supposed to know that!? I don't control when her eyes change!" Your mother snapped back.

"(Y/n), come here. We're leaving."

"You can't take her away from me!"

"Yes I can, I know how to raise her better!"

"Your not the one that gave birth to her, so go crawl in a ditch and die already!"

You couldn't take it. You couldn't stand the yelling anymore. You sat down and curled up tightly into a ball, sobbing into your knees.

"Oh, look what you did. You made her cry." You father said angrily, he narrowed his one visible eye at your mother. "You disgust me." He spat.

"No no no no no, I think you've got it all wrong. YOU made her cry."

"Girls, go wait in the shed. It should be open." He said turned around facing to two girls, they nodded and quickly went inside. Your father turned back around and cracked his knuckles. "Now... Where were we?" He smirked as a shadow casted over your mother. Suddenly, doing the unexpected, he lunged at your mother. The chilling wind came in the house and was quite strong.

Everything happened to fast for you, but when the wind in the house slowed down you saw your mother on the floor with scratches all over her. "Mommy!" You gasped in fear and ran straight to her, but your father held you back. His head was bowed but you swore you could see an evil smirk and an insane look in his eyes, a look that was hunger for blood. "D-daddy?"

"Come (y/n), let's go home." He chuckled darkly.

"But what about mommy?" You asked, gazing at your father who kept his head bowed.

"Mommy is dead." He laughed, showing rows of sharp teeth.

"N-no.. Sh-she can't be!" You cried and launched yourself on your mother.

"Watch behind you, because one day I'll find you, then you'll live with me." You heard a faint, evil whisper in your ear. Whipping around, you found your father gone. Only your picture was still there, all shattered and ripped into shreds.

-End of flashback-

'I know she only abuses me because I look like my father... my hair, my face, my eyes... The only thing that's not my father's appearance is my eye color though. There a (e/c) color, while my father's is red.' You thought in your mind as you woke up in the same exact spot you were in when you passed out. 'I need to leave. That's the only way I can stay out of people's way, I know how to take care of myself better then a lot of people..... I'll do it. I'll leave at dawn, the earliest possible.'
