Chapter 11

I'm back with another chapter :) I know the story's kinda moving slow but give it a chance would'ya. -Nate's POV-

I kissed her.

As soon as my lips landed on hers all thoughts about breaking the kiss flew out the window at that very moment.There was no mistaking the sparks that exploded throughout my whole body as our lips moved in perfect rhythm after a few seconds of hesitation on her part til she started kissing back. The urgency of the kiss was unbearable.

I was completely lost into the kiss as I slowly trialled kisses up her neck before returning back to her luscious pink lips licking her bottom lip asking for entrance which she instantly complied, too caught up in the moment to even think about it and within a second our tongues was fighting for dominance until she finally gave in.

I was surprised as her hands wrapped around my neck while I pulled her closer, both my wolf and I needing to be as close as possible to our mate which resulted our bodies flushed against each other. As I felt her fingers ruffled my hair, my hands instinctively grabbed her lower thighs and in one single swift motion wrapped her legs around my waist.

Her heavy breaths and quiet moans were enough to have every single part of my body tighten, driving my wolf crazy with hunger for her. I could feel the electric current that surrounded us intensified by the second, any longer and my wolf would have taken over control and took her then and there but the human side of me would never let that happen.

It was getting really heated between us even if we're in the middle of a forest during the night, that was until her back collided against a tree trunk which cause the both of us to pull away catching our much needed breath. I instantly backed away when I realized what I've done. I just kissed Serena.

What the hell is wrong with me.

Here I was just about to end things with her and I ended up kissing her for god knows how long. I seriously had no idea what came over me but as soon as I heard the finality in her words and when she started walking away from me something in me snapped and you know what happened next.

That was the first kiss we shared but I'll damned if it would be the last. Hell, I could probably lived on her kisses which were extremely addicting.

Taking a risk, I couldn't help but let my eyes wonder to her. Her eyes were still shut and her cheeks were flush red which I'm pretty sure mirrored mine. Not to mention the fact that I could clearly still hear her heartbeat thump rapidly.

As her eyes fluttered open they were glued to the forest floor not once daring to meet my eyes, slowly I took a step towards her and gently cupped her cheeks. Her eyes met mine and her face was a little flustered, eyes slightly widened in aftershock. Funny how one moment we didn't want anything to do with one another and the next minute we were making out in the forest, I guess that's just how the mate bond works.

"Look, this never happened. Okay?" she said a little breathless and I stood there completely fazed. I couldn't believe it; did she not felt a sense of completeness while we kissed and the sparks that could very well be like fireworks, my wolf let out a hurtful whimper at her words.

"Come on Serena, we both know that it was bound to happen soon. We're mates and don't you dare deny that you didn't feel anything because from the way you were kissing me earlier I know it wasn't just your wolf's doing." I waited for her to say something, anything really, at this moment even a slap on the face would do just to avoid this silence.
