I got to the race track in about 15mins. I drove over to my manager who looked a little mad and happy at the same time but I honestly didn't care.
'' Your late Sydney,'' he said in his so called '' stern '' voice. '' Yea and? Your my manager you just need to make sure I win and have races to go to so stop trying to be my dad. Got that Jeff? '' '' Yes ma'am. Are you ready to win tonight? The reward for winning is 350$. I also heard that the racers are even better then last time. '' hmmm I bet their going to be slow and easy to bet like usually.
'' Excuse me miss are you Sydney Gray? '' a man in a I wanna say a bluish grayish suit asked. '' Yea that's me. Can I help you with something? '' '' Actually I can help you and you can help me. My client would like to have a one-on-one race with u on Friday the 13th if that is all good with you Ms. Gray?''
'' Yea I can make it but whose wanting to race me and how much is the reward for winning the race? may I ask?'' '' My client would like to keep his identity a secrete until the race and the reward will be 600$ cash. '' ''Hmm.... hard to decline that offer so I will accept the challenge. tell him that to meet at the Hollywood sign at 12:30 sharp got it?'' '' Yes ma'am thank you for your time'' '' mmmhmm''
I waved him off and got on my bike and went to the starting line to start the race.
