It was a rainy late autumn day. You didn't feel like doing anything. But you had to shower, so once you were don't you let your hair dry and put it up into a bun and put on some track pants and a tanktop with an Aritzia hoodie over top.
You already called your boyfriend Michael over to spend time with you since you haven't done much together this past week, you needed time together. You decided to make some hot cocoa for you and him. He loved hot cocoa. You finished of the cocoa with mini marshmallows in several colours. They melted and made a sugary topping for the warm drink.
You heard a knock at the door and opened it to a slightly moist Michael. "Hey babe, I made you some hot cocoa" you said handing him the cup. He kissed you kindly and took the cup sipping from it. "Delicious as always babe" he said smiling. "Aww Michael" you said. "Aww Kayla" he mocked. You looked away pretending to be offended like a young child would. Michael used his hand and turned your face towards his, "does someone need a tickle?" He asked as if he was talking to a puppy. You nodded pouting your lips. His leaned in for a kiss but just before your lips brushed, he attacked you with tickles.
You pushed him off after about 5 minutes. And you leaned in for a perfect, soft kiss. As you pulled away you smiled and cuddled into Michael's chest. "Guess what?" He asked. You looked up to him. "I wrote you a song" he smiled, leaving the room and going into what you assumed was your music room you used to record your covers that you posted on youtube. He came back with his favourite guitar, the one he bought you for your last birthday.
As he began to play the guitar it was a rather catchy tune and his voice sounded perfect, like he had been rehearsing for a while. The lyrics were very sweet and you were nearly in tears by the end. "Michael, that was beautiful!" You exclaimed embracing him tightly and kissing his lips forcefully. Michael smiled into the kiss and pulled away. "I'm glad you loved it babe." He said with a smile.
It was becoming later evening and the rain had not stopped yet, so you decided to put a movie on for Michael and yourself to enjoy. You cuddled with Michael for the rest of the night peacefully, until you fell asleep and Michael stayed the night to keep you warm.
