Chapter 15: Your trying to hard

It was almost towards the end of class, maybe another ten minutes or so? I rubbed my eyes sleepily while yawning a bit. Just then a slip of paper was put on my desk and a tap on the shoulder. I turned to the same guy that gave me Jun Kai's not and he mouthed ' From Jun Kai. ' and pointed at Jun Kai two rows from me. I thanked him while slowly opening the note, trying the best I could to unfold it quietly.

Note: _Y/N_, if we're not going to the library or cafe then we're are we going?

I sighed a bit while taking out my green pen in hand, twirling it a bit before writing near his note.

You: Um I guess we can go to my house if that's fine with you?

I folded the note before throwing the note across the room to Jun Kai. The note flew across the room and bounced off Jun Kai's head. He blinked a bit, feeling something hit him before looking down at the ground. He picked up the note and looked back at me with a raised brow. ' Really? ' He mouthed while puffing out his cheeks slightly. I shrugged with a sheepish smile before mouthing ' Sorry '. He rolled his eyes but had on a playful smile.

I giggled while feeling my cheeks flush just a bit. I cleared my throat a bit before going back to my notes, resting my head on my hand while biting my lip. 'It's weird. I've only known Jun Kai for what? Two days? But It's like we're both very close, good friends. Heck, I might even like him.' I shook my head a bit, trying to shake those thoughts out. 'Nah... But I mean I might.. He's really cute with his smile and all... There's something about him but I don't know... Maybe I do like him. But I'm obviously to shy to confess..' I sighed while twirling my pen, trying to get rid of those complicated thoughts and feelings.

- Jun Kai's POV -

I unfolded the note and my eyes widened a bit from her response. 'H-Her house?! B-But wouldn't that be awkward?' I thought to myself, getting a bit flustered. It's not like I don't want to go to her house though... I started writing in the note and tried giving it to the next guy, but he gave me a look. I narrowed my eyes a bit, questioning why he gave me that look. His eyes then shifted to the front before looking back at me. I blinked and then felt my expression change into a shocked one. 'Oh boy...' I thought while turning my head back to the front. I gulped when I saw the teacher crossing his arms. "Jun Kai. Are you passing notes?" He scolded.
I rubbed the back of my neck while looking down a bit. "I-" Right before I can even say a word he started walking towards me, snatching the note up. He unfolded it and read it out loud. "_Y/N_, if we're not going to the library or cafe then we're are we going?... Um I guess we can go to my house if that's fine with you?.. Alright then! Winky face { aka ;3 }." I heard the whole class snicker while some said 'Ohhhhh~'. I felt my face flush red all the way to the tip of my ears. I turned a bit to see _Y/N_'s reaction and saw her face palming, blushing furiously. The teacher gave me a small glare before sighing and crumbling the paper, throwing it into the trash bin as the bell rang. "Alright class is dismissed."

I got out of my seat, taking my backpack with me while shuffling over to _Y/N_. "Guess that's a yes isn't it?" She sighed, shaking her head while packing her stuff.
"Haha... Sorry about getting caught.." I muttered while scratching the back of my head, putting a hand in my pocket as I waited for her to pack. She got up and brushed some strands of hair behind her ear. "Aiya, you big dummy. Next time be careful." She lightly scolded while punching my arm. I winced a bit smiled cheekily. "Haha I will."

As we walked out the classroom I could hear footsteps running down the hall. "Jun Kai!!~" A high pitched voice rang through the halls. I turned and saw Qi Qi running with her arms open. Before I could move to the side she had already tackled me while smashing her lips onto my cheek. Luckily I turned my head. "Q-Qi Qi!" I furrowed my eyebrows while pushing her back a bit. "Heheheh~ Sorry Jun Kai! And I was wondering if you wanted to go to the amusement park with me! I have two tickets~" She cooed while tip toeing a bit to get closer to my face. I felt myself tilt back a bit so her face wouldn't be as close as she wanted it to be. "No thanks Qi Qi. I have tutoring."
"Hah?! With who? You know I can be your tutor too~" She winked.
"With _Y/N_." I turned towards _Y/N_ with a cheeky grin before looking back at Qi Qi.
"With her?!!" She took a step back and pointed at _Y/N_ with a surprised expression. I could see her eyes slowly narrowing before she then flashed me a bright smile. "Ah. A-Alright then. Maybe tomorrow..." She nodded a bit while frowning for a few seconds but shook it off and smiled at me.

- Your POV -

'Huh... She looked a bit.. Heart broken for a few seconds..'  I thought while watching the two. Qi Qi then glared over at me before while flipping her hair and walking away. 'Well she did try a bit hard... Out of all the times she could have asked she just had to ask in front of me.' I sighed. Jun Kai looked back at me with a frown, "Ah. Sorry about that _Y/N_." He then put an arm around me before walking me towards the front door. "So your house huh?" He smiled a bit. I laughed nervously, "Yeah ahaha... hope my parents aren't at home or things would be a bit awkward.."
