Chapter 19: Cuts And Bruises

- Jun Kai's POV -

R I N G

I blinked before taking out my phone and answering it. "Wei?"
"Wei? Xiao Kai? Do you mind walking me home? Please? My dad won't be able to pick me up until 6. Pleeeeaaase? My house isn't that far."
"Oh. Uhh..." I looked back at the three and sighed. "Fine. I'll be right over."
"Wow! Thank you Jun Kai! Your the best!~ Meet me outside the school doors!"
"Yeah yeah." I sighed while ending the call. _Y/N_ cocked her head to the side a bit while giving me a puzzled look. "What's up?"
"Its nothing. I'll be back in a bit though. So meet me in the same cafe as usual?" I smiled before slinging my backpack on my shoulder. "Wang Yuan. Qian Xi. Stay with _Y/N_ alright?" They both nodded and gave me thumbs up. "Haha thanks." I smiled before walking out the classroom.

I walked out the front door and saw Qi Qi with a huge grin, "Xiao Kai!!" She tackle hugged me while I tried pushing her off. "Ah. Qi Qi please don't do that. I am no longer a single man." She pouted before letting go, "Oh please Jun Kai. Who says your no longer a single man?" She huffed.
"Well I'm dating _Y/N_ now so.." I gestured my hand a bit before looking down at her with a soft smile.
"Oh really?! Wow that's great!" She smiled happily as she clasped her hands together.
'Wait what?' I looked at her strangely before giving her a look, "Your actually ok with it."
"Why of course! Jun Kai I might like you but I'm not gonna rule your life ahahaha." She laughed a bit, shifting her eyes a bit. I can tell she was nervous. I nodded and started walking, "Alright then shall we go on?" I asked while waiting. "Of course." She smiled as we both walked out the school gates.

- Your POV -

"Well that was a bit odd wasn't it?" I looked over at the two and the both shrugged.
"Well maybe he had something do." Wang Yuan pointed out before patting my shoulders as we all walked out the classroom. "Yeah maybe your right. Whelp, ready to go the the cafe-"

"Wang Yuan!!~"
"Qian Xi!!~"

Two girl ran down the hallway, waving with smiles. Wang Yuan and Qian Xi smiled, "Hello." They waved. The two girls looked over at me and gave me small glares before turning back and giving the two big smiles. I raised a brow, totally confused on what just happened. 'Why did they glare? It's not like I ever did anything to them before...' I watched them.
"Yuan Yuan~ Can you sign this for me? Its for a friend." One battered her eye lashes at him while giving him a small pout. Wang Yuan blinked before smiling down at her. "Of course! Who should I sign it too?"

"Qian Xi! Qian Xi! Can you also sign this? My sister's a huge fan!" The other girl smiled while shoving a t-shirt in Qian Xi's hand with a sharpie. He nodded and gave her a soft smile before signing the t-shirt. After signing everything the girls looked at each other with a sly smirk before taking out their phones. "Seflies! Mind taking some photos with us?" They asked while making puppy dog eyes and pouty lips. The boys looked at each other but looked back at the girls with nervous smiles. "S-Sure..." The nodded.
I folded my arms and sighed, "Alright I guess I'll just wait outside." I shook my head slowly and began walking but felt a tug from my uniform. "Wait _Y/N_! You can't go out alone! What if some guy comes and harasses you?" Qian Xi gave me a worried look before I chuckled, "No worries Qian Xi. I can kind of handle my self... Kind of.." I muttered the last part but gave him a reassuring smile. He sighed before nodding, watching as I slowly started walking down the hall.

- Jun Kai's POV -

We both kept walking down the street side by side together. Qi Qi was always trying to start a conversation over her designer stuff and more stuff. I just silently listened to her ramble about junk while I put my hands in my pockets. I then decided to bring up a question floating in my mind for a bit. "Hey Qi Qi. Do you remember when we were little?"
She stopped her rambling and gazed up at me while putting her hands on her hips, "Of course Xiao Kai!!" She puffed out her cheeks. She's kind of cute when she puffs out her cheeks like that, but not as cute as _Y/N_. "Why would you ask that?" She huffed.
"I was just wondering. Heh remember when you'd cry when you scrapped your knee?" I asked a bit, remembering old times.
"Yeah. Haha I was such a wimp." She then sighed. "Sorry."
"For what?"
"For being so annoying I guess. Heh. It's weird. Ever since I lost my parents from a stupid car accident I guess you were the only one I could go too."
"Yeah..."
"I always thought of you as my older brother but some how I guess my feelings for you started developing more towards love?"
"Heheh yeah I can tell."
"Yeah." She blushed, "Though you'd never return my feelings." She frowned a bit while gazing down at the floor. My heart dropped, "Sorry Qi Qi..." I sighed a bit while rubbing my neck awkwardly. She gritted her teeth and stepped in front of me. "Wang Jun Kai!" She spoke out before pointing at herself. "I love you! Ditch _Y/N_! Stay with me. Be with me. Your the one I trust and I can't stop thinking about you! I hate it when your with other girls! I hate it!" She yelled. "Dump _Y/N_. Go out with me. Let's be together."
"Qi Qi..." I looked away from her, "I can't. It's true I can never return your feelings. I just think of you as a sister. As a friend. Plus I love _Y/N_..."
"_Y/N_!?" She started tearing up. I blinked, 'I knew Qi Qi liked me but.. Was she really that much in love?...' I thought to myself while watching her. "She doesn't know you as much as I do!" She cried out. "I care more about you then her! I love you! I really do!" She wiped her tears. "I liked you ever since I met you. I denied it at first. I hate admitting it. But maybe I thought that if I confessed to you, you'd accept it. But you rejected it." She crossed her arm and turned her back towards me.
"Qi Qi don't be like this. I never knew your feelings were that strong towards me."
"Whatever. Just go." She shooed me away before walking towards her house street.
