Imessage Chapter 15
I spent most of the night with Hayes, before I decided I needed to go back to the hotel.
"I'll see you soon." He smiles, standing only inches away from me.
"Promise?"
"Promise." He leans down and kisses my forehead.
"Goodnight Hayes." I smile up at him, noticing the sparkle in his bright blue eyes.
"Goodnight." He smiles back, before I walk down the hall to my hotel room.
I take one last look at him and smile, before turning the key and walking inside.
"Megan, where in the hell have you been?!" Carly shouts, jumping up from her bed.
"We've been worried sick." Liz adds, making her way over to me.
"I'm fine, i'm fine." I begin. "Just wanted some air." I lie, taking a seat on my bed.
I plug my phone into its charger, and lay my head on my pillow, taking a moment to think about the most amazing day of my life.
I'm not ready for it to be over.
I check all of my social medias and texts, before turning my phone off and setting it on the nightstand.
"I think i'm gonna get some sleep." I announce, looking over to Liz and Carly, who sit on the bed opposite of mine looking at their phones.
"Goodnight." They say in sync, before going back to their phones, and with that, i'm closing my eyes and dreaming.

I wake up the next morning to the smell of Carly's damned black coffee.
I stretch and rub my eyes, before sitting up in the bed and looking over at my best friend.
"Good morning." She smiles, lifting her head up from the book she is reading.
"Morning." I smile.
"Someone's in a good mood." She points out, causing me to shrug.
"Yeah." I agree, taking my phone from the side table and turning it on.
As soon as my phone turns on, I notice I have new imessages.
A few from my dad, telling me he misses and loves me.
A few from friends at school, and one from Hayes.
Good morning :)
I decide to simply reply with: morning :), before quickly turning off my phone and getting out of bed.
I grab a pair of clean clothes, and head for the bathroom to take a shower.
When I've finished showering, changing, and doing my hair and makeup, Liz is awake and having a conversation with Carly.
When I walk into the main room, they both grow silent and stare at me.
"What?" I chuckle.
"Oh, nothing." Liz says, looking away from me.
I decide not to reply to her. Instead I check my phone, and am pleased to see a new message from Hayes.
How'd you sleep?
I smile at the message, and reply with a simple, good.
"So, we were planning on going out today." Carly breaks the silence, looking over at me.
"Sounds good." I reply, as I text back some of my friends, and Hayes.
Liz and Carly have both already fully gotten ready, so we decide to leave the hotel.
Carly pulls up a GPS on her phone, and types in the location of the mall.
Within half an hour, we are walking through the doors to the mall.
"I seriously need coffee." Liz groans, as we walk through the food court.
"Maybe if you would have woken up sooner, you could have had some of what I made." Carly says, looking over at her.
I roll my eyes, as we all walk over to the in-mall Starbucks.
"Do you want anything?" Liz asks, pulling out her Starbucks gift card.
"I could use a caramel frappe." I shrug, jokingly. "But it's cool, I can pay."
"No, I got it. Birthday treat?"
"It's not my birthday yet." I laugh.
"Yeah, but the big 16 is in less than 24 hours." She shrugs, ordering and paying for our drinks.
We walk through the mall, going in stores we know we won't buy from, just to waste time.
At the end of the day, I end up with three tops from PINK, two pairs of jeans from American Eagle, and a few band tees from Hot Topic.
Carly, Liz, and I get back to the hotel around 8:00, and after a long day of shopping, I decide that I deserve a break.
I plop down on my bed, kick my shoes off, and rest my head on my pillow.
I check my phone and notice a message from Hayes, causing me to smile.
Meet me at the pool at 10, yah?
