_____________________________Imessage chapter 3
After lots of breathing exercises, anxiety pills, packing, and kissing the selfie of Hayes on my phone, I feel a little better about going on a plane.
I still have three days until we leave Tampa, and then it's off to Phoenix, Arizona.
I'm still fangirling over the thought of meeting Hayes, and the rest of the boys, but i'm also so nervous that I will make a bad impression.
What if, I trip while walking to one of there tables.
Or, What if, I flip my hair in his face.
What if, I go in to kiss his cheek, and accidently kiss his lips.
Wait, now that one wouldn't be too bad.
I may just do that.
"Ms. Jones, care to share what you're thinking about?"
I snap my head up to my snobby history teacher.
I almost forgot it was a Monday.
"Oh just thinking about, South Africa." I say, trying my best to hide my sarcasm, and put on my best fake smile.
"Uh huh, now get back to work."
I roll my eyes, and turn my attention back to my paper.
Or at least try to.
Right now, all I can think about is Hayes' lips on mine.
The bell rings, dismissing us from class, and I stand to my feet, grabbing my bags.
I search the classroom for Carly, and see her talking to the new kid in our class, Blake.
I grin to myself, and throw my bag over my shoulder, before walking out the door of the classroom.
I lean my back against the wall beside the door, as kids flee the school.
Every kid leaves the classroom, and Carly and Blake, slowly trail behind.
"Okay, talk to you later." The tall, brunette boy says to Carly, as she nodds, tucking a piece of hair behind her ear.
Carly turns to me, as the cute boy walks towards the exit, my eyebrows high on my forehead.
"What..was that?" I ask, my eyes still wide.
"Nothing." She replies, not looking up at me.
"Does someone have a crushhh." I ask like a school girl, poking her repeatedly at her side.
"It's not a crush, Blake and I started talking. No biggie." She says shrugging, but the curve of her lip, and sparkle in her eyes say otherwise.
"Uh huh." I say sarcastically as we walk out of the school doors.
She rolls her eyes at me, not making eye contact, as we walk to the car blaring Shawn Mendes music across the street.
The whole ride there, I watch her type messages on her phone, and check it every thirty seconds.
It honestly makes me sick.
Or maybe I'm just jealous that I can't get a guy myself.
I have my Hayes cardboard cutout, what am I talking about.
We pull into the garage, and I have to pull Carly inside the house, considering that she won't take her eyes off her phone.
I could understand if she was looking at pictures of Hayes, but..
When we get inside to her bedroom, I snatch her phone and step onto her bed, lifting it as high as I can.
I'm at least five inches taller than her, being 5'6 and her 5'1.
"What the f-"
Our little game is inturrupted by mama c walking inside her bedroom door.
"You guys want any snacks?"
"Were okay mom." She quickly replies, and stares back at me.
With that her mom is off, and we are left alone again.
"Give me my phone Megan!" She shouts, hearing a message alert.
I pull it higher, and shake my head.
"Why is it so important?"
"It's not." She says, just as another message alert goes off, and she whimpers.
"Uh huh." I say sarcastically.
"Now just who would you be texting?" I look at the phone, to see two message alerts from, of course, Blake.
She frowns and looks away from me.
"What happend to Matt? I thought when you met him you were going to marry him?" I say, lifting the phone to my side.
"Of course i'm going to."
"Blake is just a friend." She says shrugging.
I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding in.
I thought she was turning away from the fandom.
To be with an....
Average boy.
*Cue Gasps*
"Okay, good." I say, stepping off of the bed.
"Now, why don't we go watch some vines?" I suggest, and with that, we begin scrolling through the app.
