With an exhausted sigh I locked my phone and buried my head in the pillow beside me. Never in my life have I felt this tired.

The new bed was amazingly soft and just perfect to sleep on but of course, I couldn't fall asleep. My tired eyes started at the plain white ceiling, blinking slowly once in a while and feeling the pain slowly coming back.

This whole day consisted of me taking loads of painkillers and cleaning the house. There was nothing for me to do anymore.

My head lazily turned to look at the small lilac colored clock located on the nightstand which showed 2.47am.

When I closed my eyes, the terrifying, traumatizing and awful situation replays in my mind. I shivered and snapped my eyes open, biting my lip and stopping the pathetic tears from falling , I sat up and leaned my back on the frame of the bed.

Suddenly the elevator binged and it was followed by footsteps that made me freeze. My eyes wide I stared at the door which slowly opened, a tall familiar figure entered the bedroom and made my heart skip a beat.

"You're back." My voice came out as a tiny squeak when the boy sat down beside me and wrapped his muscular arm around my waist before pulled me to sit on his lap.

"Why aren't you sleeping?" His husky tone sent shivers down my spine as I wrapped my arms around his neck.

"I can't fall asleep."

Flynn sighs before leaving a gentle kiss on my collarbone, "You have no idea how much I missed you."

Warmth erupted in me and a small smile creeped up on my lips, "I missed you too."

I leaned my head on his chest and closed my eyes for a minute before he spoke up again.

"Go to sleep." He kissed my forehead and put me in bed, a frown was replacing my smile when he tucked me in and brushed a strand of hair away from my face.

"Where are you going?" I dared to ask when his back was facing me and fingers touching the doorknob.

Nervously I waited for his answer and when finally got it, I was relieved.

"I'm not leaving you, Aurora. Now sleep."
