"You can't hide from me Aurora," Matt's laugh echoed in the dark room where the only source of light was the moon shining through the window above my head. "Don't you remember, I always get what I want!"

Shivers ran down my spine as his footsteps neared my hiding place. Eyes squeezed shut and my hand clamped over my mouth, I tried to silence the endless flow of tears.

"You don't wanna make me angry!" He roars, fist connecting with a wall as his search for me continues.

I couldn't breathe,

his eyes fell on my small figure trying to get up from the dusty floor as he approached me with a disgusting smirk plastered on his face. My wobbly feet couldn't carry my body that had frozen with fear, when I attempted to stand up I ended up falling and having a hand grab the back of my neck roughly.

"Let me go, Matt.. Please." His eyes darkened and hands around my neck made my breathing hard.

"You're mine."

My eyes snapped open and sat up as fast as a lightening, studying my surroundings before I sighed.

Just another nightmare.

Flynn mumbled something in his sleep as I slowly tiptoed out of his bedroom. It was almost five in the morning and I just knew that I couldn't sleep anymore.

Baby was cuddled up on the sofa with Biscuit who seemed really happy to have a tiny friend sleeping on him.

I soon found myself staring outside the window with a cup of tea in my pale hands. Cars were driving by, people rushing to work while I just watched.

The bruises were healed and Matt had just vanished which was good, I think.

Flynn was back. he seemed a lot calmer than before, he made me feel safe and happy . Speaking of the devil, he dragged himself in the living room and tiredly lifted his gaze to me.

"Why are you up?" He asks but I just shrug and let him wrap his arms around me. Flynn leads me back in the bedroom, puts the cup of tea on the nightstand and tells me to get under the covers.

"Go back to sleep." He mumbles and nuzzles his face in the crook of my neck.

With a small smile on my face I fell in another sleep thinking,

I really did love him.
