Kirstie's POV
The sound of my alarm blares around my bedroom like a siren, waking me up from my slumber. 'Ugh!' I groan aloud, rolling over onto my stomach, while hitting the snooze button. I hopped out of bed to get ready to shoot the video for Rather Be. I took a shower and then picked out an outfit to wear. I decided upon wearing a sleeveless black shirt with fringe at the bottom and sequins embedded at the neckline, paired with a pair of colourful leggings, and combat boots. I applied a small amount of makeup and curled my hair.On the way to the studio, I decided to stop at Starbucks for Scott, Mitch, Kevin, Avi, Esther and I. I was the last one at the studio, due to the stop I had made. After the group had finished their Starbucks, we jumped right into filming the video.
*after the video*
I decided to head straight to the car, I wanted to avoid any closure with Scott. It would just be too awkward. Besides, I had a lot on my mind because of Jeremy. Although to think of it, I was getting over him quite quickly, he treated me like shit anyways. My attention was drawn over to Scott when I saw him running down the parking lot yelling "Kirstie!" As he got closer, I went to get into my car to drive away, but his hand stopped me from opening my door. I looked him in the eyes.
"Scott Richard Hoying, must I ask for your permission to leave?" I ask sarcastically with a grimace on my face.
"Well, Kirstin Taylor Maldonado, I'm afraid that can't happen because we need to talk."
I sigh, "Hop in." I say gesturing to the passengers seat.
I turn the key in the ignition, and begin to back out.
"Where are we going?" Scott asks confused
"My house." I pause, "You said you wanted to talk, right?" I say, not taking my focus off of the road.
"Uhhh..yeah." He replies as if asking a question.
We then pull into my drive way. I can see Olaf staring through the window, wagging his tail. Scott and I walk up the drive way together and into my house.
We both sit down on the couch beside each other.Scott's POV
I stare into Kirstie's eyes, unable to look away from her. 'What is she doing to me?' I think to myself.
"Okay, what was so important that you needed to talk with me about?" She asked with a bit of a glare
"It's about the kiss..." I pause, and grasp both of her hands."I really really lo- like you Kirstin, and I have since high school."
She gives me a very painful, blank expression, without saying anything.
"And I know you probably don't like me like that..and you probably never will..." I look down at my feet "But..I just thought that I should stop keeping this from you."
I get up off my feet and make my way over to the door. As I turn the knob, I feel her hand grasp my wrist. She spins me around to face her and crashes her lips into mine. Electric shivers travel through my spine. The kiss was passionate, and amazing.
She detaches her lips from mine and stands on the tips of her toes to whisper "There's no place I'd rather be than right here with you, Scott Hoying."
I can feel myself smiling, and I know that I never want this moment to end.
As the night went on, we decided to binge and watch Netflix before making our way to Kirstin's room to fall into a deep sleep. To say this was the best day of my life would be an understatement.A/N: Hey guys :) I hope that you're enjoying the story.
