"Stronger" - Chapter 3

"Tikki, spots on!" Marinette yelled, hoping Adrien wouldn't hear.

If he were to know that she was Ladybug who knows what he would do. She couldn't possibly tell him either. Tikki had told her not to tell anyone. Not even Chat Noir himself. After her transformation had finished she ran back to her room, hoping to see Adrien still there. He was gone. And Chat Noir was about to jump out the window.

"Chat?" Ladybug asked, looking up to her feline partner, "there was a boy in here. Do you know where he went?"

"Bubble," was Chat's answer. Short but still explained why Adrien was not in the room, "I was just about to leave. Glad you came mi'lady."

"Not now Chat we have to stop him," Ladybug objected, jumping out the window, "why did the Bubbler strike again though?"

"I don't honestly know myself mi'lady," Chat answered, following behind her.

Jumping across rooftops and following the bubbles full of people was what they did. After all the Bubbler would have to be near where they were heading. It turns out he was at Adrien's house, once again. A small party going on, just like last time. The Bubbler just looked around like there was something wrong, scratching the top of his head as if something were missing.

Marinette heard two brief words, "where's Adrien?"

Making her think, Chat had said he was in a bubble. Had he lied, or was he really in a bubble. No, Chat would never lie to her. After all she was his Bug-a-boo. And him her kitty, yet she didn't want to believe that she was actually falling for her partner. She denied she was falling for him. 

"Yo! Bubbler!" Chat yelled, getting the Bubbler's attention, "looking for something?"

"Guess I'll have to search for him later, it's time for you two to stop stopping my parties!" The Bubbler yelled, raising his bubble wand over his head and throwing red bubbles at Chat and Ladybug.

Easily they dodged them, using their weapons. At the snap of the Bubbler's fingers though he caught both of them in a large green bubble yet again. Just like the last time it had happened it speed up fast enough for them to see the top of the Eiffel Tower in no time. 

"Chat Noir, it's just like last time!" Ladybug exclaimed, "use your Cataclysm!"

Chat nodded, "Cataclysm!"

Striking the bubble with his hand, or paw as some might say, only thing is this time it didn't work. It only made a small dent in the bubble which went back to normal once he removed his hand. Astonished about what had happened Chat looked at Ladybug. In five minutes Chat would return back to normal, meaning Ladybug would see his true identity. They've kept it a secret this long, how would Ladybug react if it was by accident that he had lost his secret identity. 

"There has to be a way," Ladybug said, pushing on the sides of the bubble with her feet and hands, "there has to be."

"What about Lucky Charm?" Chat questioned.

"It wouldn't work in here," Ladybug explained, "but that doesn't mean my yo-yo won't."

Throwing her yo-yo at the side of the bubble made another dent, but this one stayed. Throwing it once again made another which led to more. Finally making the bubble pop, but it had taken three of the five minutes Chat had to get out of the bubble. Meaning he only had two minutes left till he transformed back.  

"Ladybug can you handle the Bubbler for a bit, I'm almost out of time?" Chat yelled as he reached the ground.

"I don't know, it seems like he's gotten stronger almost," Ladybug replied, muttering something afterwards which Chat faintly heard, "please be safe."

He didn't know if she was talking about him or someone else but it had seemed like she hadn't wanted him to hear so he just kept quiet. Running over to a wall his miraculous beeped once more, looking at the ring around his finger. The last pad was gone, he hadn't even noticed that he had lost one more. A green light wrapped around his body, putting him back in his normal clothes. Sighing he saw the little black kwami land on his hand. Almost asleep.

"Plagg, I don't know how I'm going to do this," Adrien started, "Ladybug thinks I'm in a bubble."

He reached into the pocket inside his jacket grabbing a piece of Camembert, ever since he had become Chat Noir he had carried some with him. Holding it out in front of the hand that was holding Plagg the little kwami instantly flew up and grab the piece of smelly cheese and ate it in one gulp.

"I don't know what you're supposed to do, girls are just dumb," Plagg answered, checked his hands (paws?) for any leftover cheese, "cheese is better."

"At least they smell and look better then cheese," Adrien said before yelling, "Plagg, claws out!"

Ladybug jumped, dodging a red bubble heading right towards her. Chat was sure taking his good time getting back. She had already used her Lucky Charm, which was a spring, a minute ago so she had four minutes to think about how to get the bubble wand away from the Bubbler. Chat would usually distract the akumatized villain so Ladybug could think.

"Sorry for taking so long mi'lady," Chat apologized hitting a bubble back that was just flung at him.

"Just distract him for me will ya?" Ladybug asked, swinging her yo-yo at a bubble, making it pop.

"Gotcha," Chat replied, running towards the Bubbler.

Ladybug looked around, the Bubbler was on a stage at least three feet off the ground. She could use the spring to hit him in the face to make him distracted so Chat could grab the bubble wand from him. Aiming it would be the tricky part, he moved his head to watch what Chat was doing. And surprisingly he was dancing as he dodged the red bubbles that was thrown at him.

Ladybug let the spring go, it hitting the Bubbler start in the face making him turn his attention to Ladybug. Chat Noir got the idea and instantly grabbed the bubble wand from his hand, throwing to Ladybug right after. Snapping it in half and waiting for the Akuma was what Ladybug did right after, before a green bubble was thrown at her. Trapping her in one with her miraculous with a minute left.

The Bubbler had another bubble wand and the Akuma was in that one.

A/n

Shorter chapter then the rest but I have a reason. But I have an update schedule now! Every Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Saturday I'll update a book. Which right now is only this one. The reason why this one wasn't posted till now was because I was working on...others things I have planned for my life. Not saying what. But I hope you guys enjoyed.
