"A Friend to Help" - Chapter 19

"C-Chloe?" Ladybug stuttered. Surprised to see that the blonde had helped her.

"Listen, just because I'm helping you doesn't mean I like you," Chloe calmly said, looking at the two superheroes. "Now go fight the other Akumas."

Ladybug's Miraculous beeped, she had used her Lucky Charm and had lost it as well. A pink light blinded both Chloe and Chat and Ladybug slowly turned back into clumsy Marinette. Marinette held out her hand for Tikki to land on but instead she slowly floated towards Chloe. Studying her, almost like she could tell something was different.

"We need to stop Hawk Moth!" Tikki yelled, turning back towards them. "So the real one can come back."

"Tikki what are you talking about?" Marinette asked, slightly confused as to what Tikki was trying to say. 

"Marinette, Gabriel isn't the real Hawk Moth. He stole Nuru's Miraculous and used it himself. The true owner of Nuru's Miraculous isn't Hawk Moth," Tikki explained, stopping to take a look at Chloe. "It's Chloe."

"Me, a superhero?" Chloe questioned, clearly not getting what Tikki was saying. "I think you got your facts wrong little floating ladybug thing."

"I don't think so, and the name's Tikki."

"Alright, well Tikki I know for a fact that you've got your facts wrong. I'm no superhero," Chloe explained. "I just managed to help."

"Exactly, you helped Ladybug and Chat Noir, that is why you are Nuru's true Miraculous holder. You helped them even though you know that Ladybug is the one person who you're jealous of," Tikki explained.

  Chloe stayed silent. Thinking. Sighing as she made up her mind.

"I'll help, but only if I get to wear something nice."

Short chapter but it works. This is why I made Chloe nice, although it's just what I think should happen. It most likely won't but I like this so far. Hope you guys enjoyed!
