Marinette fell to the floor, still shocked. Her best friend had just gotten rid of Ladybug. Tears formed in her eyes, it was her fault this happened. If she would've done things differently this would've been avoided easily.

"Marinette," Adrien whispered, slowly wrapping his arms around her in a hug. "It's alright, I'll save the day. Don't worry."

"A-Adrien you don't get it, do you?" Marinette questioned, wiping a tear from her cheek. "Hawk Moth's stronger then you. He's got Tikki and my miraculous there isn't a way that you can save the day without getting yourself hurt."

"Marinette," Adrien started, "your still Ladybug. With or without your costume."

"But how am I supposed to do anything?" Marinette asked, hugging her knees. "I'm just the clumsy annoying girl everyone believes me to be."

"Marinette, you're anything but annoying," Adrien leaned down, kissing the top of her head. "Now come on, let's go get your miraculous back. I have a good idea on where it might be."

Marinette looked up from her knees, Adrien was smiling with his hand held out to her. She wiped the remaining tears away and gently grabbed it. Adrien helped her up, after all he would always help his Lady, no matter what.

"Plagg, you ready to go kick some butt?" Adrien asked his little kwami who had been in his jacket the whole time.

"But I haven't finished my cheese," he whined. Throwing a piece of cheese into his mouth and grabbing another.

"Plagg, claws out!"

After Adrien transformed into Chat Noir he picked up Marinette and started to run towards his house. Letting Marinette leap through the open window first and following slowly behind her. Grabbing his staff, since he had used it to carefully help Marinette through the window, he placed it back on his back. Sighing he flipped on the light switch. He had hoped he would never have to see this place again.

"Where would Hawk Moth be?" Marinette asked, looking around and noticing that she was in Adrien's room.

"Somewhere close," Chat answered, silently closing the window to make sure Hawk Moth wouldn't expect anything. "Probably his study, he never lets me in there." (I making this up because I don't know where it would be if my theory is right)

Marinette nodded, opening the door to the hallway. There stood Alya, grabbing Marinette by the arm and dragging her out of the room. Slamming the door with a bang. The sound of a lock and screams from Marinette was all Chat could hear. Chat ran to the door, jiggling the doorknob. That sound wasn't a lie, it was locked.

"Marinette!" He yelled.

He had to think, how could he get himself out of this mess? Wait his Cataclysm! Raising his hand he yelled.

"Cataclysm!" Swinging his hand to the door, making it turn brown and fall to the floor.

He ran towards where he could still hear Marinette struggle. Screaming, at least. He followed it, and like he had thought it was his father's study. The one room in the house no one was allowed in. Did Nathalie know that he was an evil villain? That didn't matter right know but he tried the doorknob, for some reason it wasn't locked. Like it had been for years to keep him out.  He slowly opened the door, a light in the middle was the only light and there sat Marinette. Tied to the chair. Hand down and eyes closed. Had he really taken that long to get here?

"Marinette!" He yelled running towards her.

Reaching her he bent down, checking her pulse. Still alive. She blinked her eyes once and noticed he was there.

"Chat...watch-" she couldn't finish.

A large metal rod, probably his staff, hit him in the side of the head. Causing a small wound, large enough to bleed but not large enough to make him die from blood loss. Hawk Moth chuckled. This was going just as he hoped.

"Girl, grab him," he commanded and Alya nodded, grabbing the unconscious Chat. "This is all going perfectly."

"What are you going to do to him?" Marinette asked, as she struggled to get out of the ropes. She wasn't out long but enough to not know where she was, Alya had knocked her out on the staircase up.

"Something I should of done once I learned that my son was Chat Noir," Hawk Moth explained, "but that's not all."

Alya got handed a knife from Hawk Moth. She grinned and looked towards Marinette who instantly knew what was going to happen.

"No!" A high pitched squeal yelled. It was Tikki, locked up in a cage in a little light.

"Be quiet!" Hawk Moth commanded the little kwami.

"Wait!" Marinette stopped Alya just as the knife was about to reach her. "What if we made a deal?"

"Marinette no!" Tikki objected, trying to get out of the bird cage she was in.

"A deal? What kind of deal?" Hawk Moth asked, moving Alya a bit behind him as he grew closer to Marinette.

"I'll join your team if you let Chat go," Marinette sat in fear. Had she really just said that?

"Ladybug? Willing to join my team if I let my son go," Hawk Moth paused but then snapped his fingers and Alya nodded grabbing the collar of Chat Noir's suit and leaving. "You've got yourself a deal, I'll release Adrien and Alya, but in return they'll think your dead." He paused, snapping his fingers once more. "And you better not betray me, or else I won't just kill you, I'll kill Chat as well."

Marinette gulped and nodded, what had she gotten herself into?
