Upon walking into class bright and early Monday morning, Iwaizumi took his place at the back of the class, eyes dead-locked on the door. He knew you had to walk through it at any given moment. It was just a matter of time.

'She's here!' Minutes later, the upperclassmen spotted you coming up the stairs, bag shrugged over your shoulder and earphones in your ears. 'Now's the time to get her number,' he thought. He shifted out of his seat, let out a little huff, and took cool steps down to your seat.

"(Y/n)," he reached out and tapped a finger on your shoulder.

"Ah." You plucked the earphones out of your ear and turned up to find him. "Oh, Senpai." You bowed briefly to him. "I'm so sorry, I didn't realize you were here. Good morning," you showed him a small smile.

"No, no, don't sweat it." He waved a dismissive hand, returning a small smile of his own. "How...uh...was your weekend?" he asked. 'That's it, don't rush. Just ease your way into it, Hajime.'

"It was good. Thanks for asking." You looked off for a second.

"What'd you do?"

"I got some studying done, finished the last episode of a series I like, and stuff..." You trailed off. "How did you spend yours, Senpai?"

"O-oh, me?" There wasn't any reason for him to tell you how frequently he thought about the end of Thursday night and how much he thought about getting your number as soon as possible. "I did what I usually do. Workout, watch a movie at home, stuff like that..." His volume lowered as well. 'This is getting awkward!'

Be that as it may, he wasn't about to give up. 'Something else to say, Hajime! Think of something else!' The first thing to come to mind were movies. "That's right, what kind of movies do you like to watch? I like movies with action and thriller. But every now and then I don't mind a nice romantic movie."

"You like to watch those genres, too?" Who would've thought you'd be into genres like those? For the most part, a lot of girls as he knew them to be preferred chick flicks. 'Wait, that's it!'

A new movie had recently released with both those genres in it. He could just ask you out on a date. 'No, wait...I was supposed to be asking her number, not a date.' But if he asked for a date, then your number would come hand-in-hand. 'I could kill two birds with one stone, duh. No, wait! Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself here. Gah, whatever! I'll just ask.'

With an extra sprinkle of determination, Iwaizumi pushed on. "(Y/n), there's this movie that came out not too long ago. If you don't have any plans, I could get us tickets to go see it." He gulped. 'Please, say yes.'

"Ooh, are you talking about Titan Abyss?"

He lit up right after you. "You know it?"

"I went to watch it with my friend Ritsuka on the day of its release. It was super good!"

Ah. "I see..." Back to square one.

At this point, he just had to go for it. No more beating around the bush. "So like--" Iwaizumi smoothed his hand back and forth on his nape. "The reason I stopped by was 'cause I was wondering--since I didn't get the chance to get it the other night--" The more he spoke, the further the blush spread across his face. "If I could have your number."

He felt like kicking himself. When it came to chicks, he was usually calm and collected. But here he was, stammering like a fool over his Kouhai who hadn't done anything but stare up at him with those sparkly eyes and bat those long lashes.

"You want my number?" You thought about it for a second. 'Senpai doesn't seem to be that much of a scary person, unlike the other day, so I guess it should be fine.'
