Lilly's POV

All of these dings, ticks, clicks. My phone wouldn't stop. Every second there was a different notification. It took me all I had to not stop driving just to turn off my notifications.

"Gmail: Hey Lilly! Remember your final cut of the video I need by the 29th. Have a great day!"

"Gmail: Hey! I've seen you're videos and I would love to collab sometime? Reply ASAP ;)."

"YouTube: Humble The Poet just uploaded a video: Is @IISuperwomanII My Soulmate?"

Don't get me wrong, I loved YouTube and I loved editing and being creative, but too much of it is stressful and sometimes I just need a break.

Another ding and I see Aman in the corner of my eye look down at my phone and then look at me. He knew I hated my phone blowing up.

"Please, turn them off Aman. I hate it." I say, desperate for them to stop.

"No problem Lil'." He responded.

"You good Lil'? You look a bit stressed." He says, I could hear in his voice that he was worried.

"Well, yea, I'm stressed as eff, and all of those rings and dings don't help me. There is a lot to be done and not much time to get it done. There are deadlines for this video, while at the same time I'm still trying to come up with a video idea for Super Monday. Sometimes talking about things helps, but in this case it's not. It stresses me out even more to say out loud what I have to do." I sighed and as much as I just wanted to sit and cuddle with Aman, I couldn't. Aman reached for my hand and grabbed it. He lifted it to his lips and kissed my hand softly. As much as I also wanted to kiss him back, I was still driving. He rubbed my hand with his thumb.

"Everything is okay Lil'." He reassured me. I glanced over at him and I smiled. I loved the way he made me feel. He made me feel safe and at home. I loved that. I loved him.

He glanced forward at the road and in a split second his expression had changed from happy to terrified. My thoughts were interrupted when Aman let go of my hand violently and pointed forward.

"Lilly the road!"

I snapped out of it. I looked at the road and a wave of panic came over me. I was way over in the other lane and I tried my best swerving back into my lane, but before I could do that, a car slammed head first into my car. It happened so quick yet so slow. Then it was black.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
I woke up panicked. It took me a moment to realize what was happening. I looked around to reassure myself that I was in my bed and not in my car. I looked over at Aman and he woke up due to my slight jump.

He sat up and asked me ,"Lil' are you alright?"

I sigh and look back at him. I smile and reply, "I'm fine."

"Good."

I leaned over to kiss him and I instantly felt better when my lips met his. I layed back down with my back facing towards and him. He did the same and draped his arm over my stomach. He kissed my shoulder before laying his head down on the pillow.

"Goodnight Lil'. I love you."

I smile. "I love you too, Amandeep. Goodnight."
