Haley's P.O.V.

Josh told us that we will be meeting Freya today. he was gone to pick her up from the airport and the guys and I were at the house get ready for her arrival.

I decided to look nice so I chose a dressy outfit and curled my hair. (picture) I did my everyday makeup and put some accessories on.

I headed downstairs to the kitchen because I wanted a snack. I was at the cupboards looking for a snack when I felt someone's arms wrap around my waist. I looked up to see Simon standing behind me.

"hey babe." he said as I turned around.

"hey." I said hugging him.

"you look lovely, like you do everyday." he said kissing my cheek.

"awe Si, thanks." I said kissing his cheek back. it felt right to do that. to be able to kiss him and love him.

he stayed like this while I grabbed a cereal bar and ate it. when I got down to the last bite, he stole it from me and ate it.

"Simon!" I said in a annoyed voice, even though I wasn't annoyed at all.

"I was hungry... I'm sorry." he laughed as he ran upstairs. I chased after him and tackled him in his bed. we continued to 'fight' for about twenty minutes until Vik interrupted us.

"Josh said that they will be here in about ten minutes." he said as he went back downstairs.

"ok!" we replied as we looked at each other. we both laughed as I went into my room. I grabbed my ukulele and headed downstairs with Simon into the kitchen. I sat on the counter and began to play Riptide by Vancejoy. Simon sat in awe as I sang every note adding my own here and there. I strummed the last cord and heard a few hand claps from behind me.

I turned around to see Josh and Freya standing there with very shocked faces.

"I didn't know you could play the ukulele?!" Josh said as his mouth hung open.

"your an amazing singer! I'm Freya by the way." Freya said as she walked over to me. I hopped off the counter and hugged her.

"I'm Haley! and I've heard lots of good things about you." I said looking to Josh as he tried to hide his blush.

"awe." she said while walking over to her boyfriend.

"that's right! I have told her very good things about you, beautiful." Josh said as he hugged Freya.

"speaking of  beautiful, Haley your gorgeous. I bet that you've got a boyfriend." Freya smiled at me.

"actually, I do." I said walking over to Simon, holding his hand.

"what!? you two are a thing!" she said with a shocked expression.

"yep." he said as we looked at each other.

"how long have you been able to play the ukulele?" Josh asked.

"probably half a year" I said shrugging my shoulders.

"you should really upload some covers or something." Simon said as he put his arm around my shoulders.

"I don't know." I said unsure of the idea.

"come on Haley, your amazing at singing and playing the ukulele!" he said as he wrapped me into a hug. I hugged him back and nodded in his chest.

"I'll do it. I'll upload one later today or tomorrow." I said as I started to head upstairs to work on a song.

I decided to sing Riptide for my cover. I sat up my mic and camera in front of me and began to record. I sang the words and strummed every cord with a pure passion inside of me.

I finished and began to edit. there wasn't much but I did add my intro and end card in. I uploaded it and waited for a response and boy did I get one.

everyone loved it and wanted me to do more. some of course were rude, but one stuck out the most to me.

'why did you even upload this when you can't sing in the first place. and you probably screw all of the sidemen anyway you whore. so why would anyone watch you?'

I was taken by surprise by this so much that my eye started to water. I felt tears coming down my face as I sat there with my head in my hands.

I didn't hear anyone knock or come in but I was soon comforted by Simon.

"it's ok. don't listen to them ok, you are a very strong person and I believe in you. you can do this." he said while hugging me. he rubbed small circles and shapes on my back which calmed my immediately.

I calmed down a few minutes later and thought of a comment to reply back with.

'thanks for the encouragement, it means a lot for you to waste you time to comment that.' I replied as Simon read it and smiled.

"so when someone does that, you're  just gonna reply with something witty?" he asked as he looked at me very confused.

"yep. I will try to ignore them but I don't know." I said as I made eye contact with him. he knows what it feels like, to be hated for something you love to do.

"let's record some prop hunt with the guys, what do you say?" he asked wanting to change the subject.

"yes please. I need some laughter to help me. I'm not gonna put face cam on for my sake." I said while wiping my tears. he nodded and kissed my head.

Simon went into his room and told the guys that we were gonna play prop hunt. the others agreed and we were soon worry free in the world of where puns and trolls were the highlights.

we played for hours and hours. it was quite fun though, maybe because I won most of the games. let's just say that Ethan and JJ are so gullible.

I began to edit three hours of footage into a forty minute video. I got about fifteen minutes done when I saw that the time was half past four in the morning. I decided to call it a night and went to change into some pajamas. I went into Simon's room to see him already asleep. I kissed his head and headed to my room. I got into bed and replayed today over in my head.

I love my life now and I hope it never changes.
