Haley's P.O.V.

"Haley, wake up. babe! wake up."

I woke up to see Simon standing beside my bed with a worried expression on his face.

"what is it?" I said while sitting up.

"I heard you yelling for your dad to stop and I got worried so I ran in here. you were having a nightmare Haley."

I started to cry as I remembered what had just happened in my head. I was about eleven in my dream. dad was about to sexual abuse me with an odd object that I now know is a sex toy. I guess I screamed out loud for him to stop and didn't realize that I woke Simon.

I started to sob in my hands as Simon pulled my into a comforting hug. I calmed down after  awhile and started to get sleepy again. I looked at Simon to see him almost asleep. I shook him lightly to wake him.

"we should go to bed it half past six." I asked as he started to leave. "can you stay with me?"  I said before he reached the door.

"sure" he said walking back to my bed and laying down beside me. he put his arm around my waist and pulled me close to him. I felt safe, like I was at ease with no worries.

I soon fell asleep after listening to Simon's soft snores.

I woke up to the sun shining in my eyes and an arm wrapped around me as it was early this morning.

I look over at Simon to him still asleep. I tried to get out of his grip but he woke up I guess because he tightened his arm around my waist

"Si! let me go." I said sweetly hoping it would work. I turned over and kissed him, he soon let me go and I got up and cracked a few things in the process.

I turned around to see Simon looking at me in disgust.

"what? it's not like you've never popped  your bones before." I laughed.

"yeah, your right." he said with the face of defeat.

I went into the bathroom and brushed my teeth. I did my business, brushed my hair, and left.

I walked down to the kitchen to find Simon there with a half eaten bowl of cereal.

I walked over to the cupboards and grabbed a bowl and the cereal. I fixed me a bowl and sat by Simon at the table.

we were soon greeted by Freya who had her hair and makeup fixed.

"good morning you two." she said as she grabbed a cereal bar.

"good morning." I smiled at her.

"Haley, would you like to go shopping with me today?" she asked me as she finished her cereal bar.

"sure, I'd love to. about what time?"

"um is two o'clock good?"

"yeah! that's perfect." I said putting my finished bowl of cereal in the sink.

"yay! I'm so excited to finally have a girl in the house to go shopping with!"she laughed.

"I'm gonna go get ready." I said as I stood up from my chair and walked upstairs.

I picked out an outfit after many minutes of mixing and matching tops. (picture) I added a few accessories to compliment the outfit and decided to curl my hair.

about thirty minutes later, my hair was finally curled. I started to do a little makeup, putting on some music in the process.

after about fifteen minutes of dancing and singing, my makeup was finally done and it was only twelve o'clock. I watched some of Simon's videos to pass the time as I waited to go.

I was about to watch a prop hunt from last year, when I hear someone knock on my door.

"come in." I said to whoever it was on the other side.

"hey, are you ready to go?" Freya asked as she stepped inside of my room.

"yep just let me grab my purse." I said as I grab a small black fringe purse.

we walked downstairs and got to the front door.

"WE'RE LEAVING!" Freya shouted. soon Simon and Josh walked out of the kitchen and over to us. Josh kissed Freya's head and Simon kissed my head. I hugged him and he kissed my head again. I looked up at him and kissed his lips. we pulled away to see Josh and Freya standing there looking at us.

"what? it's not like you two were just sucking each others faces off three seconds ago." I laughed. everyone joined in with me.

Freya and I soon left and headed to the mall.

"so you brought money right." she asked as we turned into a road.

"yeah I've got money. well, my parents money..." I trailed off.

"Josh told me what happened. I'm sorry." she said as we turned into the parking lot of the mall.

"don't apologize. it's not your fault." I said as I smiled at her.

"I'm here for you. I know what it feels like sorta. I'll tell you later but let's go have fun right now." Freya said as we got out of the car and walked towards the entrance.

six hours later, our arms hurt from carrying bags and our feet felt like they were going to fall off.

we decided that it was time to go so we loaded up the car and drove home.

when we got back the boys were in the middle of recording a gta video so we decided to go to my room and go through all of our clothes. because that's what girls do after a day of shopping.

"ok I'm gonna tell you something that everyone of the sidemen know, I only grew up with one parent and they were very abusive to me." Freya said as she looked off trying not to tear up. she let out a sob as she put her head in her hands. I ran to her side as I pulled her into a comforting hug.

"it's okay. let it out, don't hold on let it free." I said while rubbing her back.

"Freya? are you ok." Josh said as he knocked on my door. she let him in and he immediately hugged her and wiped her tears away.

"it's ok babe. your ok now. I've got you and I'm never letting go of you." Josh said as they sat down on my floor, hugging each other while Freya sobbed.

it was so caring of Josh to do that. for him to drop everything for her and ran to her side.

a few moments later, Simon was at the door wanting in.

"Haley? are you ok." he asked as I let him in.

"I'm fine Freya told me about her..." I whispered not wanting to upset her anymore.

Simon hugged me as I began to cry. I didn't cry because of her story, I cried because I was like her. I had no mother or father that took care of me properly. I could feel her pain.

we soon all joined in a big group hug, each of us crying. this is what family means. to be there for each other and to know that you are not alone in any situation. I finally have a family, and I'm glad to call this one mine.
