Chapter 5: It's not normal

Joshs pov: Mackenzie probably hates me. Why'd I kiss her? I love her. But I love Maddie too. What should I do?!

Maddies pov: Josh loves Mackenzie more than me! I can tell. He led me out of the house. Which meant something went wrong. "Josh,what went wrong with Mackenzie?" I ask. He turns away. "Nothing." He says quickly. "I know something happened!" I say. "Ok. She asked me what the kiss was for. I said because you looked hot and I really wanted to kiss you. And she said that we could be friends but not really really really close friends." He says. "Aw. I'm sorry Josh." Mackenzie says. Josh looks surprised. She kisses his cheek. "What are you doing here?" He asks. "I knew you were mad. I wanted to cheer you up." She says. "Aw. Kenz. Thanks." He says hugging her. I get a little jealous. Then Lexi grabs Mackenzies arm. "Come on! You have to see him!" She yells. They run down the sidewalk. Josh doesn't take his eyes off of her. "Who are they seeing?" He asks me. "I don't know." I say. He grabs my hand and follows them.
