Chapter 24

Mackenzie's pov: I was so happy that Maddie was back! I thought she was dead. Even though it was a little painful to see her and Josh together,I knew I had to be happy for them.That was just the kind of person I was. I went into the bathroom and took a shower. I put on a black crop top, black short shorts, and black sandals. I dyed the tips of my black waist length hair blonde and let it out of its ponytail.I applied a few coats of mascara and did a skinny wing of eyeliner on my top eyelids. I applied my bright red lipstick, giving me that smokey image. I also put in my hello kitty diamond for my belly piercing. I grabbed my black michael kors purse and went downstairs.

"Maddie?" I asked. She looked up.

"I'm going out. I'll be back soon okay?" She nodded.

"Kenzie?" Josh squeaked.

"Yes?"

"When will you be back baby?" He got up from the couch and hugged me tight.

"I don't know. Soon okay?" He kissed my cheek and I looked down.

Now that Maddie was here,it was her he should love. Not me.

"You okay Kenz?" Maddie asked.

"Fine." I said and left.

||45 minutes later||

I met up with Brooke Hyland at the Adventura mall 45 minutes later.

"I feel so bad. Maddie was bullied by everyone and I saw it,but I never did anything. And now she's dead." Brooke said while gazing into the Starbucks shop across from us.

I scoffed.

"Well if she's dead,why is she trying to steal my boyfriend?" I mumbled.

"What?" Brooke asked.

"Nothing."

I bit my lip. My phone rung and I looked at the screen.

"Baby boy" came up. Josh.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Babe get home. Maddie left me." I could hear him sobbing and I felt his heart break.

"Are you sure she didn't just go to the bathroom or something?" I asked.

"No. She got a text on her phone and started acting all weird. And then she just left." He could barely get the words out.

"Awh. Okay I'm coming." I hung up the phone and picked up my purse.

"Brooke I have to go." She nodded and I left.

||At home||

I couldn't wait for Kenzie to get home. I was so broken. I couldn't believe that Maddie left me. I sobbed in the couch until I heard the lock in the door click.

Mackenzie.

I ran up and hugged her tight.

"Im sorry." I looked at her gorgeous face.

"No. I'm sorry. I acted like a jealous bitch." She looked me I'm the eye and said.

"Babe.." I hugged her.

"I love you." I said.

"I love you too."
