Anthony was my ex. First guy I ever cried over, the reason why I had such bad trust issues. I hated him.

"He showed up last night, asking for you," Janelle answered.

"And so, you?"

"Soooo, I told him off, and told him to never come round here again," Janelle answered.

"And I laughed cause, it was too funny," Cynthia added.

"Oh but, there's more," Janelle said, sounding like a game show host.

"Oh gosh, what else?," I asked, worried.

"He kinda got into a tussle with Jay and Trey," Aaliyah answered.

"I can't withe your words," Cynthia laughed.

"Anyways, how and why?," I asked.

"Well, after I told him off, he got mad and tried to grab me, and you know I don't play that so, Trey stepped in and when Jay realized it was Anthony, he stepped in too," Janelle answered.

"Yeah," Cynthia agreed.

"Girls!!!," my mother yelled, "It's breakfast time."

"Coming!," we answered, going downstairs.
Once we got downstairs, my mother announced that she and my father were going out again today. So, she told us to take Sasha and Savannah to the park.

"Are you guys ready?," I asked, Sasha and Savannah, after mom and dad left.

"Yes, are they coming too?," Sasha asked, looking at Janelle, Cynthia, and Aaliyah.

"Of course," Aaliyah answered.

"Yay!!!," they cheered, in unison.

"Come on yall," they laughed.
"Simone, can you push me?," Savannah asked.

We were at the park and Sasha and Savannah were on the swings.

"No, push me," Sasha demanded.

"I asked first!!," Savannah yelled.

"You know what?," I said, "Savannah, I'll push you and Sasha, Aaliyah will push you."

"Ok," they replied.

"Um guys?," Janelle asked, sounding worried.

"What is it?," I asked, sharing the same tone.

"Anthony's here," Janelle said, looking towards the basketball court.

"Ok um, Savannah, Sasha, come off the swings, we're going to a different park," I said.

"But, we wanna stay here," Sasha argued.

"Look, I have no time for your attitude right now, just get off the swings so we can go to a better park," I demanded.

"What's wrong with this park?," someone asked.

I froze once I realized it was Anthony.

"I just don't like the people here," I said, trying to walk around him but, he grabbed my waist, keeping me in place, "Let me go!"

"Now is that any way to talk to an old friend," he said.

"You mean ex friend cause, last time I checked, we weren't friends," I corrected.

"Why you acting like we ain't got nothing going on?," he asked.

"Cause we don't, your not my man," I confirmed.

"So, that dude, Jay, is better than me?," he asked.

"Actually, he is," I answered, matter-of-factly.

Then he got mad and, grabbed my arm.

"Let go off me!," I said, trying to pull back my arm.

"Let her go!," Janelle demanded, as she and Cynthia tried to pull him off me.

"What yall gon do?," he asked, "Jay and dem not here to protect you."

"They will be if, you don't let go of her," Cynthia threatened.

He laughed, "You don't scare me."

"Let me go!," I said.

"This isn't over, and don't forget, your mine," he said, trying to kiss me but, I turned my head.

He just laughed and walked away.

"You ok?," Janelle asked.

"Let's just go home," I answered.

"Um, ok," she responded.
When we got home, Jay was outside.

"Hey baby," he said.

"Hi," I replied, dryly.

"What's wrong?," he asked, taking my hand.

"We ran into Anthony," Janelle answered.

"And, he put his hands on me," I added.

"He did what?!," Jay asked.

"Look, calm down, it's not that serious," I answered.

"Then why'd you bring it up, hmm?," he asked.

I stayed silent.

"Exactly," he confirmed, "Ooooh when I see that nigga."

"Baby, I don't want you to get," I said, trying to change his mind.

"I'm not the one who's gonna hurt, he is."
"How you feeling?," Cynthia asked me, on Monday.

"I'm fine, I guess," I answered.

After what happened on Saturday I just wanted to be alone so, the girls left and I haven't seen them since.

"I just missed you guys," I added, pulling them into a group hug.

"Aww, we missed you too," Janelle said.

"Ooooh!, I have and idea," Aaliyah said.

"What?," I asked.

"We should all go on a group date," she answered.

"Like the one we had at the park," Janelle asked.

"Yeah," Aaliyah answered, "Since we have Wednesday to Friday off, we could sleep over on Tuesday and, do something Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and, Saturday and then just chill on Sunday. "

"Oh ma gosh, that sounds amaaaazing!!!," Trey said, coming out of no where, sounding like a white girl.

"Like totally gurl!," Jay added.

"Oh my gosh, yasssssssss!!!," Daniel agreed.

I laughed, "Looks like we're going on a group date."
