"Ms.Jenkins, do you know the answer to number three?," my teacher asked, knowing full well that I didn't.

"No Ms.Rivera," I answered.

"Well maybe you should stop daydreaming and actually pay attention," she commented.

"Everyone's entitled to their own opinion," I stated, causing the whole class to laugh.

Anyone who knows me knows that I don't like disrespect, and if you disrespect me I'll disrespect you. Simple as that. You get as much as you give.

"Excuse me?," she asked.

"I was just giving my opinion," I answered.

"I'll let it slide," she replied, "Now class I want you to get into groups of five and discuss number three."

My bestfriends, Janelle, Madison, Cynthia, and Aaliyah were in this class so naturally we got in a group together.

"Girl, I was weak when you talked back to Ms,Rivera," Cynthia said.

"Well she was disrespecting me so, you know I had to put her in her place," I replied.

"I hear that," Janelle added, "She be quick to comment on somebody but then be acting brand new when they put her in her place."

"Guy's, this is all true but, you could've really gotten in trouble," Aaliyah said.

Typical Aaliyah, she was the angel of the group and she was always talking us out of doing "bad" things.

"Your such a goodie-goodie Aaliyah," I teased.

"Hey, there's nothing wrong with being a goodie-goodie," she argued.

"Yeah but you need to live a little," I replied.

"Yeah ok," she said, sarcastically.

"Madison, why you so quiet?," Janelle asked.

"Oh no reason, just thinking," she answered a little too quickly.

Janelle, Aaliyah, Cynthia, and I have been best friends since elementary and we met Madison freshman year. At first it was hard accepting her into the group but after a while everything was alright. We still had our suspicions tho.

"Hmm ok," Cynthia commented.

*Ring Ring*

"Ok guys, that's the bell, see you guys Monday," Ms.Rivera said, dismissing us.

"Finally school's over," Janelle cheered as we walked downstairs.

"Yup, yall coming over my house tonight right?," I asked.

"Yep, you know your momma loves us," Cynthia answered.

"I won't be able to make it," Madison answered.

Suprise, suprise, Madison couldn't come again. Everytime we had a sleepover she had other things to do. Which is why I had my suspicions.

"Ok see you Monday," I said, as she walked away.

"See yall tonight," Janelle said as she and Cynthia walked to the bus stop.
