Being a Banker is like walking on a breakin' tight rope

 1 YEAR LATER....

I was sitting on the roof of a building, over looking the city bank. The view was beautiful, cloudy, grey, and stormy, a wonderful day for the fist day of my new business. The air blew my tangled brown hair against my face. Just how I loved it to. The rusty smell of rain came over me as I slowly stood up with the suitcase in my hand, my gloves tightening on the handle, I took a deep breath, and closed my eyes.

When I opened them I saw that I had teleported right smack center of a lot of people, I whirled around towards the counter surprising the heck out of a young man sipping coffee, who spilled it all over his crisp white work shirt.

His eyes widened as I produced a gun from my belt.

"Everyone," my voice flowing smoothly like honey over cake," hands up, and kneel, if any of you move, I'll shoot this woman." As I said this I quickly took hold of a young blonde woman with blue eyes that had stood just behind me, and held her in front of me as a shield. I quickly started walking backwards, avoiding all the quivering people under me, until I felt the counter. I shoved my suitcase to the banker boy and quickly told him to fill it up and bring it back open. I saw him disappear into the vault and I turned around slowly roaming around the room eyeing each and every person. My eyes roved to a tall man in the corner who had his phone to his ear. Quickly letting go of the girl, I teleported behind him and stuck out my gun.

" Well, well, well' I said leaning in and poking him with the gun as he stiffened," it looks like we have a little brat here don't we? Turn around fool!"

The tall man turned around his hands raised and his phone in his hand showing a number. 122-352-8964 (Val).

"Donny? Don? are you hearing this? Don't worry, I'll be right th..." The man(Donny) quickly turned the phone off but I was already grinning wildly. Snatching the phone from his hand, I quickly tucked it into my belt and knelt next to him.

"Well, little Donny," He shivered as I drew the barrel of my gun under his jaw,"You utterly defied my wish... did I not warn you of what will happen if anyone were to move?" He froze.

I laughed coldly and whipped around and shot a single bullet toward the young woman, who was kneeling on the floor with wide scared eyes. She screamed in agony falling backwards, as the bullet hit her on the shoulder sinking deep into her flesh.

Call me a murderess if you want.

The room was dead silent. Everyone staring at the young woman in shock. Just then the doors to the bank flew open. Grey light swept through the bank, it was raining heavily outside, the cold just became colder. In walked a figure in a white and black spandex, his hair glued to his face, glistening with water. He wore a white mask covering half of his face. His eyes immediately fell on me. His face became grim as his eyes searched the room . His features darkens as his eyes lays upon the hurt figure.

His head whipped towards me," Why on Earth have you injured an innocent woman for no absolute reason? She gave you no harm and yet there she is, hurt, because you shot her."

I smiled, taking a long drought of the misty air," Well, if it isn't for Mr. Fortes of little Enderson City.... Such a wonderful day to meet you isn't it? The first day of business and voila! Here you are!" From the corner of my eye, I saw the bank boy return with the suitcase opened, carefully placed it on the counter, looked up, and then only realize what was happening," If you want to know why I hurt the girl, then I'll tell you, this little hero here," I said collaring Donny,"  called for help. He knew what he was risking yet he did it, if the girl is to die,"I said nodding to the blonde," then it is his fault."

"I do not see why this relates to anything." He said stubbornly.

I raised an eyebrow, not that any one could see through my mask of coarse.

"My, my, you don't see how this relates to anything? This worm, "I said tugging Donny's shirt," is lucky that I did not kill the girl, if I had, who know what he might do in the future!"

The Fortes frowned,"What are you talking about?" he said lowly.

I smirked," Want me to show you?"

I felt a bubble rising in the pits of my stomach, traveling through my entire body, until it all compacted into my fingertips. I aimed it the hero and let loose hell.

Black mist swirled into life from the surrounding walls swirling around the hero slowly creeping around his feet until it formed a dense cloud around him. Fortes looked confused for a while, then his eyes enlarged , he let out a wail of dismay, his knees buckled as he fell to the floor, screaming his lungs off as he looked at the black mist terrified. The people that were still kneeling on the floor gasped at their hero as he withered into ball and started begging to make it stop.

I smirked shoving Donn away and started towards the counter. The bank boy looked at me in horror as I peered at the open suitcase in satisfaction and closed it shut.

There was a collective gasp of horror. Frowning I turned around to see that one of the wisps have disentangled itself from the fog circling around Fortes, and was now kneeling over the withering girl who was looking at it with terrified large eyes. The mist started to take a human shape, a tall woman well into her forties, with long straight black hair and pale skin, her eyes were solid black. She was frowning at the tiny figure. She started to reach her hands towards the girl before I teleported right next to her and waved her off.

"It is not her time," I told the ghost," She'll join you one day, like everyone else in this room, but that day is not today."

The ghost taking a last glance at the girl, turned back into a wisp and sank into the floor.

I waved my hand, as I took the suitcase from the counter. The black mist surrounding the super vanished leaving him breathing hard. I smirked at his figure before leaving a note next to him and teleporting home.
