Ember was not good at sports. Period. That's it, over. We had dodge ball and she was the absolute first person to get out. But she seemed as if it was a pretty basic routine and cheered me and AJ on, you might be thinking I'm probably a nerd at school, well I'm not, I don't know what other people think of us and all, because I try not to notice, but I'm pretty sure we don't get bullied and all. We're like this to other people: mind your business and we'll mind ours.

AJ and I were on the same team, and it felt like it was only minutes before it was only the two of us and a whole lot of others. Both of us had a good aim, so it didn't take long for us to win.

Currently, AJ, Zach, Kai, Ember and I were walking to my house. I know, bad idea, but let me tell you guys, they love coming to my house, mostly because Evander and Etain are there. Etain really, and I mean really knows how to welcome people.

As I opened the front door, and led everyone into the living room and was about to call Etain when Ember tapped my arm. I turned around to see her anxious face stare back at me.

"Atlanta, can I ask you something?", she said nervously.

I raised my eyebrows before nodding.

"I don't know how to say this.....do you think that your family will like me?"

"What! Of coarse they will, why are you asking?"

"Well," she replied," The last time I went to a friends house, their parents didn't really like me.....don't give me that look, it's true. They didn't tell me this, of coarse, but I knew that they didn't, its a feeling you know?"

I nodded slowly, it had taken a lot to make Kai's family like me too. They were okay with me now, since its been so long, I'd even say that we're like family.

"It's okay to think like that," I said slowly, choosing my words carefully,"Just like it's okay to be nervous and all, but you shouldn't be, my brother and sister will love you."

I wrapped an arm around her assuring her to the others before running up to Etain's room not knocking startling the hell out of her.

Her purple hair was all in a mess and she lay on her bed with a sketching pad, her pale skin glistening in the sunlight.

She stares at me as if I was an alien, shocked like she was in a dream.

I frowned," Etain? What is it? Is something on my face?"

Etain shook her head slowly, before getting up from her bed," No, no, nothings wrong, just.....thinking... about... something?"she said.

She put her sketch pad away before walking towards the mirror, fixing herself up, and combing her wavy hair.

She turned to me with a smile plastered on her face," Your friends are probably here huh darling? I'll be right there. You came in when I had this really good idea for dress for my project, I got ... about a week before I need to hand it in. Do you want to help when their gone?" I nodded earnestly smiling forgetting the way she had looked at me just a minute ago.

Working with her was pretty cool, she went to fashion college because she wanted to become a designer. She got projects a lot and they were mostly about making some kind of dress, and she loved doing it even when there wasn't a project. I picked up some of her talent. I knew the basic ways of stitching and stuff.

"Darling," Etain said rummaging through her boxes of fabric," have you seen the spandex that I bought a week ago? I think I misplaced it."

I gulped.  I had used it to make my super suit instead of using a ski cap and a swim suit or something.
