Torn Between Two

Chapter 1

I sat on the bleachers at Angel Grove High School in the gym. I was watching Jason prepare for his karate match against this new kid. The new kid was kind of cute but I hope Jason wins since he is my best friend.

"Go Jason!" I yelled.

Jason looked up at me and smiled. It made me blush red when he did it.

Kimberly, my sister said, "You totally have a crush on Jason."

"I know I do. You don't have to tell me." I said.

Kimberly said, "You should ask him out after this match up."

I asked, "You think so?"

"Yeah, cause I am sure he likes you to" Kim said.

I replied, "Okay I will ask him out."

She smiled and I smiled back.

The match up began. It went back and forth for a while. Then the new kid got ahead of Jason by two points. I started to get a little worried that this new kid was to much for Jason.

I yelled, "Come on Jason. You can do it."

Jason started to come back after my willing him on. He got one point then he got another before time ran out to tie up the score.

Referee said, "It's a tie."

The new kid and Jason shook hands then the new kid walked over. I got down and went up to Jason. I hugged him tight.

Jason said, "Thanks for willing me on there."

I said, "No problem. You know I always will. I got something to ask you."

He smiled and said, "Shoot."

"Would you like to go on a date with me?" I asked.

Jason said, "Yes I would love to. Want time and date?"

I said, "Tomorrow. After School."

"Okay. Where?" Jason said.

I said, "The Angel Grove Bar and Gym."

Jason said, "Okay."

We both smiled. He walked away to get dressed in his regular clothes.

Kimberly and Zach walked up to me.

Kimberly asked, "So what did he say?"

I replied, "He said yes."

"I knew it" Kimberly said.

Zach said, "I am happy for you."

I smiled as he said that. Then our watches go off. Rita must be up to something.

I said, "Zordon needs us."

Kimberly, Zach and I transferred to the Ranger Center. A few minutes later, we were joined by Billy and Jason.

Billy asked, "What is Rita up to now Zordon?"

Zordon answered, "Rangers, Rita has made a monster. It's called the Spiked Cow. It's terrorizing people. Hurry and get there so you can stop it."

Jason said, "You got it Zordon. All right, it's morphing time."

"Mastodon" Zach said.

Kimberly said, "Pterodactyl."

"Triceratops" Billy said.

I said, "Sabertooth Tiger."

Jason said, "Tyrannosaurus."

We appeared in front of Rita's monster. Kimberly and Zach went after it and we smacked with it hoofs. Billy hit the cow twice then got hit with its spiked tail. I went up to hit and hit about six times then it hit me with it's spiked tail.
