I open my eyes, looking all around me. My heart is pounding, I can feel the panic raise. I look down, I have no arms, I have no legs, and no clue on what is going on. The whole room was white, even the bed I was laying in was completely white. There was no dark colors in this room.

"Good morning, Mr. Sledge." My breathing starts to get faster, more heavier as I look to see who spoke to me. "Who are you? What happened to me? Where am I? Why'd you call me Sledge?!" I yell out, but no one else could hear me. "Sir, you may want to quite down. You'll scare the others here." I have no idea what this man was talking about, all I know is that I don't have any limbs at all. I need answers. "Whoever you are, tell me what you have done with all of my limbs. Tell me what you've done to me." The man shut the door and walked closer to the bed side I was laying in, "if I was to tell you, then that would ruin the surprise."

"What surprise?" The fear of what this man is doing to me is coming over me, like a shadow comes across the grass on a sunny day. "If you must know, you were in the army. You were in an explosion that severally damaged your limbs, causing us to amputate them. Sledge, what we are doing to you is something amazing. We are creating artificial robotic limbs, strongest of the strong, to make you a hero for your country."

Supporting my country was the number one thing that I always imagined myself doing, but being a hero was more of a dream rather than a actual opportunity for me.

"So, are we in agreement here?" The man grabs the paperworks from the end of the bed, and shows them to me. "Okay, I can agree to this. Just don't kill me." The man signed the papers for me, "oh sir, we wouldn't ever dream of doing that."

The man walked out of the room with the papers, leaving the woman in white in the room. She turned her attention to the table next to my bed, working on a needle that I assumed was for me. "What is that?" I ask, still in pain. "This is something we use to numb people and take them under." She turned around, holding the needle straight up in the air. "Don't worry, sir. This will only hurt a lot. But it doesn't last that long, now hold still." She put the needle in my hip and injected me with the sryum. The pain was worse than I have ever felt in my life, I yelled out in agony, grinding my teeth through the pain. This was hell itself.
---------------------------------------------------------

Thinking all of this was just a bad dream, I opened my eyes in a heavy breathing way. I look down to see my arms, my legs, they were almost robotic. I could control them with my mind, the metal was the strongest material I have ever seen, it was beautiful on how they constructed this.

"Hello sir, glad you could join us again. How are you doing?" This man, this man was a different guy than the first one. He took off the straps holding me down. "Confused, that's how I am." The man took a deep breath in, and looked around. "Look, I'm gonna get you out of here." He said softly. "I wanted to get you out sooner, but I knew you needed arms and legs. But these guys are nothing but trouble, they want to use you for their own destruction. I'm not going to let them use you like that. Stay with me big guy, I'll get you out of here."

All of this was confusing. All I wanted to do was get home to my wife, who probably thinks I'm dead. She was my world, now, I don't think I could go back to her. Not like this, I can't put her in this much danger. I followed the man out of the room, no one was guarding the door, that worked for our advantage.

"What's your name?" The man looks at me as I ask that question, "Stan. Yours?" Taking a deep breath, I knew I couldn't be the man I once was. No, I'm not Paul Reeves anymore. "I'm Sledge, my name's Sledge." Stan peeped his head around the crate we were hiding behind, "well Sledge, you might have to use your strength in this. A couple of guys are coming our way, and I think they spot us." I heard bullets hit the crate, "we know you're back there, come out with your hands up!"

I walk out with my hands up, "okay guys, you've got me." The two guards walked slowly towards me, not making any sudden movements. I was waiting for the right time, the right moment to knock these two out. "NOW SLEDGE!" I hear Stan yell out. I grin bigger than before, swinging my arm, hitting the two against the wall across the room.

"Woah, man you are dangerously awesome." Stan pats my back, "let's get out of here. I'm not letting them use me for anything." Stan smiles, "that's what I like to hear." We run towards to exits, but that still was a long way down. We knew we would face something more than just two guards, something more lethal.
---------------------------------------------------------
We approach the exit, after fighting off a few guards. "We're here Sledge! We can finally be free!" Free. The sound of freedom was pure bliss. "Not so fast," we hear from ahead of us. It's the man who made me sign the contract, the man I first met here. "Where do you boys think you're going?" Stan looks at me, "I was taking him to our continaiment. He needs to stay there for a while until we use him." The man looked at me, "oh, really now?" Stan shook his head, "Yes, Mr. Washington." Washington turns his attention to Stan. "For some reason, I don't believe you." I could see the sweat coming off of Stan, he was not a great liar. I had to do something, something that would help our situation. I take my fist and try to hit Washington, but to my surprise, he catches my punch. "Oh, Sledge. You think that I was so dumb to make you if I couldn't contain you? You're weaker in my eyes. I can take you down, I'm the only man that can take you down. Unless you don't want your limbs, or your wife to be alive, I suggest you to do what I say." I felt the rage come upon me, "You leave my wife out of this." Washington grinned, "try me." Stan grabbed a gun, and shot at Washington. He caught the bullet before it hit him, this man was quick and strong. "I'm surprised at your actions Stan, you were such a great prodigy." Washington takes his hand, and sticks it into Stan's heart. "But I'm afraid I'm going to have to let you go. We wish you well on your future."

Tears came to my eyes, Stan was a good man. More man than I ever thought of being. But I had to stay focus, enough to stop this Washington. "If you don't want your wife to be next, then do what I say." This was the moment I knew I had to kill everyone here. I had to stop everyone here, if not, my wife would be gone.

I shook my head, "yes, I'll do what you say." Washington smirked evilly, "Good, good." I knew my attack had to be surprised. This man wasn't going to go down easy. I follow him down a long hallway, not knowing where he was taking me. "Here's your room. Stay in it." Washington turned his back, and this was my chance. I grab his head, and threw him across the other room of the hallway. "This is for Stan," I grabbed him by the neck, and held him against the wall. Washington was gasping for air, I give him punches to the face, making him black and blue in the face. I felt a gun shot on my back, but thank God there was a metal piece there. I turn my attention to the woman who shot me, the woman in white. I walk toward her, no intention to hurt her, but enough to scare her. I dropped Washington, hoping he would stay where he's at. "Now, your turn." I Crack my knuckles, as the woman ran. I turn back to Washington, but he had disappeared. I punch the wall, knocking the whole wall down. Which gave me a idea. Knocking all of the place down will ultimately kill the whole place. I start punching all of the walls, crushing the whole place. Everything was gone, and I knew that heading back to my wife wouldn't be an option. I look upon the rubble, seeing the destruction I had caused. I then heard a whooshing sound behind me, and felt a cold breeze come over me.

"You really think you could stop me? You thought you could make me go away?" I swung my fist as I turned, but nothing was there. Hearing the sound behind me again, I shifted my whole body to see Mr. Washington standing. "There's no stopping me, Mr. Sledge. I cannot be stopped." He transported quickly near me, "not even you can stop me." I grab him by his throat, choking him until he turned purple. "Watch me." He transported out over my grip, to a place uncertain. I knew what I had to do, I have to maintain an army, but not just any kind of army. A super one.
