They told me I could be anything I liked, so I did just that.

As a shapeshifter, I can pretty much turn into anything I wanted. Well, almost. Ever since I was a child, I've been known to change into any animal known to man.

My parents used to call these powers a gift, but the kids at school always made me feel like this was a curse. It wasn't until now, that someone made me feel special.

Few Days Earlier...

"State your name please," the woman across the desk asked. I'm here for one reason, to protect this nation with a cause. At least, that's what the flyer promised me.

"Felicia Young," I spoke gently. The woman wrote, what I believe to be my name, down onto her clip board. The room was all black, with just a metal table and two seats. I need to make things right, but things were changing. This world was changing.

"Why are you here? What's your motives behind joining the Cree army?" I flipped my hair, and looked towards the door. Mixed feelings? Of course. But if I'm doing what this flyer is telling me, then I'll be more than happy to comply.

"I want to save the world against bigger threats." The woman smiled back me, and wrote the information down on her paper. I don't know what it is, but there is something that might be off about this.

"Now, go out of the room and get your shot." Shot? Does she mean like a needle? "Excuse me?" The woman looked up at me, "exit the room, go get your shots." I got up from my seat, and exited the room.

I walked into the hallway, scared out of my mind. What was going on? This was nothing that I thought it would be.

I approach the door, my heart pounding. I never knew that it would be like this. It was at that moment I felt someone grabbed my arm. "Come with me if you want to live," I heard the manly voice say. My word, that voice had my heart melting.

I turn around to see this man standing behind me. The man was built the way I liked it, with that chin that made me drool. "Just follow me, stay low." Please, this guy doesn't know me. He's the one who should be staying low. But as of right now, I followed the man down the hallway.

"Who are you?" I asked curiously. This was all so crazy to me, I have no idea if this man is one of those idiots trying to trick me or what.

"My name is Maxwell Carter, and I'm gonna get us out of here." Okay, Maxwell is just lame. Max however, it has much more of a ring to it. "Yeah, what if I don't want to leave?" He gave me this look as if I was crazy, maybe I was a bit crazy at the time.

"No, you don't want to stay. You have no idea what Creed will do." Max motioned for me to walk forward, but looking towards the other direction, two security guards walked my way. Of course with my luck, the men saw me. Time for full Felion mood.

Turning into my lionness form, I made my leaping attack towards the men. The men gave their best shot, but nothing on Earth is stronger than a lionness.

They brought out their guns, as I dodged ever single bullet. Attacking me with their fists, the two men never had a chance. My animal-like instincts did me a favor, dodging the flying fists from every direction. The men hit the wall with every punch, breaking their hands in the process.

"How in the world?" Max looked astonished at the damage I had done. "Let's just say you better be glad I'm on your side, Wolfie." Max's eyes got wide, as if he saw a ghost. "You know I turn into a wolf?" Well, technically I didn't know he could turn into a wolf, but might as well run with it.

"Of course, who wouldn't know that?" As soon as I heard Wolfie gulp, sirens went off everywhere. Things were about to get serious.

Everyone at their stations, we have a threats among us. Take these people down.

"Let's get out of here, now!" Max grabbed my hand, and off to the races we went. The doors were closing, the walls were closing in on us as well.

"Look up," Max exclaimed. I looked at the ceiling at the vents. "You can get out there, turn into a mouse. Now!"

"Ew! You are crazy!" Mice are one thing I told myself I would not turn into, and that's not gonna change now. "You got a better plan?" A smirk went across my face, "maybe."

Transforming into a bear, I clawed open the metal, with Wolfie's help. We approached the exit. Finally this nightmare would end.

"Stop!" I hear the female voice say, the same female voice from the small room. "You think you're that good? You think you can escape? You wanted this, did you not?"

"No," I quickly responded. "You lied to me, you said all of this would help humanity. But now, I think you're not doing that." She crossed her arms and walked towards us. "What exactly do you assume we're doing?"

This is where Wolfie stepped up to the plate. "You're using extraordinary people who has gifts and powers and draining them of that, and your boss, he's taking all of that power."

Wow, my hunches were right. I shouldn't ever had came here, but then again, I probably wouldn't had met Max if I hadn't.

The eyes began to turn yellow in the woman, as she grew larger, with scales all over her skin. This wasn't a woman, this was a beast.

"Oh. My. Gosh." Her neck grew larger, and I didn't know what to do. "Run Felion, let's go." The growl of this monster shook the whole place, maybe it is a good idea to follow Max. "Good idea," I say as we ran away.

The building crumble fell, as we jump onto a helicopter. It was ending, my normal life. This is the moment everything changes.
