Chapter 7

*four Days Later* 

Emma's POV.

It's Monday 2:39pm school let out early I walk up to the bus and I find my seat in the back alone, I get off the bus and I walk up to my front door and I opened it.

No one's home I walk in and look on fidge there's a note it says " mom's working late, I'm at the studio and Jess is staying at a friends house -John" I put the note

down I let Dutch inside he's runs to the couch, I put my bag on the island and I grab a pop and leftovers from last night, I heat it up, and I grab my food and sit

down and eat and watch a movie. I look at the clock it's 4:20 pm I'm so bored so I turn off the tv, I blast Halsey new album BadLands and I start singing my favorite

song Gasoline.

" are you insane like me,been in pain like me " I sang, after the song ends I hear someone knock on the door I look out the window I see a car I don't know who's it

is, so look in the peep hole in the door and I see Luke I open the door.

" Hi " he said

" Hey " I said letting him come in, I walk to the living room and I sit down

" where's John " he asked

" at the studio " I said nevrouly

" oh he told me to br here at 4:30 " he said

" it was six " I said.

He came and sat down on the other end of the couch I'm really really really nevrous.

*5 mins later "

" so how are you" he asked

"good what about you" I said I waited for a bit

" oh I'm good" he said

I look down and I can tell he's really nevrous he messing with his hands so I pick up a magazine and flip though it really fast he does the same

I put the magazine down

" Dutch Come here boy " I said as I pat my legs to get him to come here, he walks over I pet him and play with him

" cool dog " said Luke

" thanks do you have a dog" I asked looking around the room the lights are dim and candles are light Oh.My.God

" uh yeah " he said

" ...what kind" I said

"oh golden " he said

" Golden..."I said waiting for him to finish what he was saying

" retriver' he said and John walks in with my mom thank god.

" Luke you were suppose to be here in a hour" he said

" I got the time mixed up " he said

" well since your here come on in the music room and we'll work on your vocals " He said why would he need to work his singing its amazing!

" Emma you want to go with them" my mom asked

I look at Luke he wants me to go but I can't " umm no thank you " I said

I ran upstairs I locked my door and slid down the door and cryed Cause I know I'll never Have him...
