Chapter 19

Emma's POV

I woke up from Luke calling me.

"hey " I said with a still waking up voice

"hey I just woke up I'm gonna take a shower and get ready I'll text you when I'm at your house " he said

" okay is cool if Dutch comes " I asked

" yeah sure baby I gotta go love you " he said

" I love you to Lukey " I said then I hung up the phone.

I got out of bed, I walked to my closet I grabbed a shirt that says " I speak fluent sarcasm " I grabbed my black joggers, I got my clothes on I put on some socks I

threw on my doc.marten boots, I don't wanna do anything to my hair so I threw a beanie on, I took all my bags and Dutch downstairs I grabbed some paper and a pen I

wrote "I love you bye " I put the pen down I hooked Dutch's leash on his collar, I got a text from Luke saying " I'm outside " I grabbed my bags Dutch's leash I walked

outside where I see Luke waiting leaning on his car, I walked to him, I sat my bags down I hugged him I kissed him.

" good morning babygirl " he said

" good morning Lukey " I said

" your ready to go " he asked

" yes " I said I put Dutch in the back seat of Luke's car, I put my bags in the trunk, then I got in the car.

Luke started driving down the road I leaned the seat back, I felt Luke grab my hand I smiled.

" so where are we going?" I asked

" I can't tell you " he said smiling but it's devilish smile

" this the part where you kill me right " I asked joking

" no that's for later " he said joking back, we laughed at our jokes we made

" come on please tell me where we're going " I pleaded

" it's a surprise " he said and that's why I give up on trying to find out where we're going

" fine I'll wait " I said

" okay, you hungry ?" he said

" yes " I said, we pulled into a McDonalds, we both got out of his car we went inside, we order some food, went a table, we ate and talked I tried to figure out where

but I got nothing.

We walked out to the car I got in so did Luke, I fixed my seat back to how it was before it leaned back, I hooked up my phone to aux cord in the car I played Andy

Black's new song We Don't Have To Dance we blasted it while we get on the highway going God knows where, after that song goes off Oh, Ms.Believer comes on I died I

always die when this comes on, I sing along with the song, I'm getting a little bit tired I closed my eyes I fell asleep.

I woke up it's almost night I looked over at Luke who's driving

" hey where are we " I said in a still waking up voice

" hey sleepy head, we're almost to the surprise " he said taking a drink of water

" okay sorry I fell asleep ' I said as I steal his water I take a drink

" it's fine " he said placing his hand on my thigh Shit!, I get chills as he rubs my thigh, I ignore the fact that Lucifer is coming out right now.

" okay " I said.

I looked out my window I seen a sign that said " Welcome To San Francisco " I almost had a heart attack I leaned over to Luke I kissed him on the cheek

" thank you for bring me here " I said I leaned back to my seat

" your welcome " he said grabbing my hand

" I Love You Luke " I said

" I Love You Emma " he said I smiled.

We in the city of San Francisco It's beautiful the lights are amazing, we pull into this beach front hotel that allows pets thank god, I get Dutch out I walked him around to stretch his legs mine as well Luke walked in to check us in, Luke came back to me he said we got our room we got our stuff, we walked up to the room its a penthouse room its at the top. Luke opens the door I walked in this room is huge damn, I unhooked Dutch's leash from his collar I sat everything down Luke closed the door I turned to him I walked over to him I wrapped my arms around his neck I got on my tippy toes I kissed him, he wrapped his arms around my waist he pulled me closer, my toes started to hurt I started get off my tippy toes but Luke picked me up I wrapped my legs around him, we're still kissing, he held me I ran my finger though his hair, he kissed my neck a bit then I kissed him one more time, then I layed my head on his chest Luke walked over to the bed he sat down I'm sitting on his

lap.

" I love you Emma " he said, everytime he says " I love you " I get butterflys

" I love you Lukey " I said back his hold on me got tighter I felt safe he makes me feel safe

" don't ever leave me please " I said

" I won't " he said.

" I want some food " I said

" what do you want" he asked

" pizza " I said, I got up I grabbed my phone I called pizza hut, I order a large pepprion pizza.

We ate our pizza, I layed on the bed watching TV, I'm cuddled up to Dutch, Luke came out of the bathroom in sweats and that's it no shirt I'm cool with that, he walked to the bed I moved Dutch, Luke pulled out the covers I got under them Luke got in bed, we cuddled up to each other the lights are off the TV's off.

" thank you Luke " I said

" for what beauitful " he asked

" for being with me keeping me safe " I said

"oh, your welcome " He said he kissed the top of my head then we fell asleep.
