1. What piece of work are you primarily focused on at this time? (give us a short summary))) this is just the first question everyone gets they differentiate as we go on
1)
(Sorry. My grammar and spelling are off when I text them out. )
I'm currently in the process of writing Adams. It's a mystery/thriller detective story that I had an idea about after watching countless crime shows and playing a few visual novels. Adams is a detective working at the Criminal Investigative Department - a virtuoso in the art of dediction. Three years earlier her own assistant died in one of the cases in "The Papyrus Murders," twenty gruesome murders involving Greek-lettered stamped notes in Boston. She goes incognito for a while, caught in her own grief, then returns to work, only to find that the cases have arisen.
2. What is your inspiration for the story?
2)
My inspiration - though seemingly strange - came from a dream I had. Though, in it, I played the role of Detective Adams. I was solving a timed case, where the hostage died, and I've been wanting to change that ending ever since.
3. Do you have any idea of your dream cast list?
3)
I prefer not to have a cast. I think it defeats the purpose of describing your characters and letting readers get to know them they way they're written. The way a book can lead you to imagine your own world and the people in them is a beautiful thing. I'd want to think of a character as their own individual selves, not another actor or actresses.
4. What do you love most about writing? (it could be more than one thing)
4)
A while ago, I wrote exactly how I felt about writing, and today, I feel the same about it.
"Writing is like laying out a new dimension on a piece of paper. It's like creating something. It's an art, and a science. It can be physiological, or mythical; fictional or true-to-life. It's diverse, and yet, can bring people together. Writing can move people. It can make warm the coldest hearts, and uplift dejected souls. Writing is ethereal."
For me, writing is more than just a hobby. It's a passion. And it's something I'll do for the rest of my life.
5. Approximately how many times a month do you update (or plan to update) your story (stories)?
5)
Every month, I plan to update Adams at least 5 to 6 times, since I write a chapter in around 3 to 4 days, and then spend the rest of the week pondering ideas.
Though, when it comes to my poetry collection, I update more frequently, depending on if I have had the inspiration to write a poem.
6. What Genre of writing do you classify yourself?
6)
I'd like to consider myself someone that writes a lot of hopeless romances and a good mystery or paranormal. But I enjoy writing any genre. :D
