Katniss P.O.V

I run with Prim and Gale down to the bunkers just as the door closed. We made it!

I head towards where my mother had saved Prim and I a bunk bed, leaving Gale to talk to Boggs.

When I arrived to where my mother was I saw that Cressida and Pollux where across from us.

"Hey, kid" Cressida says, with a smile. I shrugged in reply.

"What's wrong? And don't tell me it's nothing, I may not have known you long, but I know when somethings bothering you." Cressida asks, her voice full of concern.

"I'm just tired, that's all. I promise" I lie, giving her a small smile.

"Well if your sure."

After that I lie down on the bed, it's not the comfiest but it was to be expected. I let sleep take over me.

Cressida's P.O.V

I wake up hearing an ear piercing scream. It takes me a while to recognise where I am, but I soon realise I'm in the bunkers, with Pollux sleeping underneath me.

I find out that it was Katniss screaming, probably having a nightmare.

I saw her sister Primrose stir in her sleep, in the bunk above Katniss'. But she didn't wake up. I saw no one else had woken up.

I got down from my bed and walked over to Katniss, and sat on the edge of her bed.

"Katniss, Katniss. Wake up, it's just a dream. Wake up!" I said whilst shaking her shoulders.

She woke up with a jolt, tears streaming down her face.

I was extremely worried for her, you see I have growing feelings for the mockingjay, and those feelings are only going stronger. It wasn't unusual for women to be in a romantic relationship with other women in the Capitol. But I don't think the people here would support us, and that's what scares me. I probably would have told her about my feelings by now if I knew the people here wouldn't be homophobic.

I was brought out of my thoughts when Katniss said "Thanks for waking me up, Cressida."

"You ok?" I asked gently, but all I got was a nod in return.

"Wake me up if you need anything." I said getting up and going back to my bed.

Soon darkness took over me once again.
