"Seb..." You managed to croak as you looked deep into your boyfriend's eyes, searching for any sign. Tears were flowing down from your eyes down to your cheek.

The two of you have been shouting at each other for the last hour yet it seemed much longer.

It all started when you were in the shower, trying to calm your nerves. Sebastian was out for a photoshoot for a movie he co-starred.

Drying your eyes, you walked over to your closet, for anything comfortable to wear. You settled with a sweater and cotton shorts, the usual.

After a few minutes of drying your hair, you heard a knock on the door. "Y/N, baby open the door, please." The voice said. Knowing who it was, you ran towards the door, opening it.

There stood your boyfriend, looking as good as usual. His hair was a little messy, a small smile tugging on the edge of his lips. You engulfed him in a hug and buried your face in his neck on your tiptoes, sniffing his scent.

He chuckled and hugged you back. You both stood there, his arms on your waist and your arms around his neck. It lasted for a couple of minutes until he spoke. "Baby, you can let go now."

You frowned but hid your disappointment and faked a smile. You knew he didn't mean it, but it hurt you deep inside. "You know I'll never let go." You ironically said as you let go of him, taking his hand instead.

"I know baby..." He sighed, looking down. "I'm just a little tired, you know?" His voice was low and steady.

You led him to the sofa and tried to cuddle, resting your head on his lap, your feet on the arm rest. It was silent, just the two of you and you loved the moment, it relaxed you and made you forget the world, knowing you were safe with the one you love.

But Sebastian thought otherwise. He was tired and didn't want to mess around. Sighing, he rested his head on his hand at the arm rest. "Look, Y/N, baby, I'm tired."

For the second time tonight, his words hurt you. You tried to understand but you couldn't hide your disappointment. You knew he didn't mean it and that he was just tired. "Seb, at least carry me to bed?" You smiled a little, opening your arms.

"Babe, I'm really tired..." He sighed, looking down at you. You furrowed your eyebrows and did your best puppy dog eyes.

"Please?" You pleaded, pouting playfully even though you wanted to cry. He was rejecting you, and you didn't take it that good. You were so used to Seb being cozy with you.

He always made sure you were comfortable and warm and would carry you to bed himself. Cuddling was something he never rejected, he loved it when you two were close. He would even kiss you and tell you he loves you endless times while stroking your hair.

You loved Sebastian so dearly, but you were doubting if he felt the same towards you anymore. He was never like this to you.

"Baby, not now..." He shook his head while you sat up, putting your hands on your lap.

Standing up you silently headed to the kitchen, picking a book from the shelf along the way. Tears were threatening to spill, but you blinked to dry them.

You sat there on a stool, a dim light illuminating your and your book.

Sebastian felt fed up and got a little annoyed with the way you acted. "Really, Y/N?" He asked harshly, heading towards you. His arms were crossed and eyebrows raised.

"What is it, Sebastian?" You questioned, sounding annoyed as well.

"Will you stop acting like a child?" Whispering to himself, he headed back. He was getting on your nerves, so you returned the favor.

"Like a child, Seb? Really?" You asked, walking over to him. "Well, I'm sorry if I'm being childish and wanted to cuddle with you."

"I already told you, I'm tired." He raised his voice, jaw clenched, facing you. All you thought of was how good he looked even when he was mad. But it broke your heart to know that it was because of you.

"Tired of what? Tired of us?" You finally asked. The both of you were taken aback with the words you spoke. "Is that what you felt all this time? Were you annoyed back then when we were together, doing shit? Well you know what, Seb? Shit just got real."

And with the words spoken, you two ended up fighting.

You knew this nonsense won't give you anything, so you decided to break it up and take a break.

"Seb, all this time..?" You asked, shaking your head in disbelief. He told you how irritating you were, and how you were a distraction from his career. You kept on shaking your head, saying no over and over again, thinking it was all a lie.

"Maybe we should... take a break." You choked, never in you life did you think you would say those words, not to Sebastian.

"Fine, do what you want. Go! I don't mind you not coming back..." He shouted, breaking your heart.

"W-what? What are you saying, Seb?" You stuttered, unable to process the words that left his mouth. "A-after all this time?"

"Y/N, just..." He started, looking anywhere but you. It was over, everything was over, everything that involved the two of you. The whole year of being together, wasted, crumpled to the ground, as if it was buried by the words that were spoken.

"No, really, it's okay." Your pained expression forming a smile. Your tear stained cheeks stretching from side to side.

You ran to your room, packing your clothes, everything that you owned was going with you, except for the man that you though was yours

When you went out, a bag in hand while standing a few feet from the door, you looked at Sebastian sitting on the couch, eyes focused on the television that was illuminating his sharp features. It was as if nothing happened.

Maybe one last look at the man you love won't hurt you more. And you were right, it didn't hurt you, it killed you. Soon enough both of your eyes meet and you once again forced a smile.

"I just thought I would never let go..." You whispered, only enough for him to hear.
