luke was really struggling. who the fuck did ashton think he was? fucking his hand with his drumsticks, not even noticing what he was doing.

it was after their set and they were cooling off backstage, michael fixing his guitar strings, calum snapchatting whatever that boy snapchats, ashton talking to one of the crew members while absentmindedly fucking his fist with his drumsticks.

and luke, luke was flustered.

luke was the last one on the bus and he went straight to the back, sliding the door open and smiling when ashton sat waiting for him.
