My name is Eleanor Marie Dalton, as you can obviously tell. I mean, this is, my story. Anyways, I'm hear to tell you how my story changed my life forever. It probably won't do any good for you, but just keep reading.

It all started when I was eating Ramen noodles. I know- not very exciting- but it gets better. Trust Me. It was a normal morning in my town. It was actually pretty boring, considering I have no teenage contact. Everyone here was middle aged or elder. My parents are divorced, but I stay with my dad in the town, Red Creek- which is where I am right now- during the summer.

I finished the last of the noodles then laid my bowl in the sink. I'm telling you, this story gets better. My dad was at work, and my ten year old sister, Jeneva, hates it here. So, I here I was, alone in my dad's small house. I went up to the small room I had, being very aware of the creaky stairs and floorboards. I kicked the door open, my eyes scanning the white room.

I held my breathe until my eyes landed on my small, blue, suitcase that I brought. Wow. I really didn't need a lot of things to survive. For instance- Make up.

Imagine that.

I start to hum a song as I pull out my acid washed skinny jeans, my black and turquoise Osiris', and a blue tank top that said "Forever Young" in gold letters. I slipped that outfit on then started off to the bathroom across the hall.

It wasn't very big, but who cares. I brushed my tangled black mess that was attached to my head. It was a curse I tell you! A curse! After about twenty minutes of a lot of detangler and brushing, I got my hair tamed. The lively black hair on my head was fixed-including a braided gold headband. Now it was time for brushing my teeth. I smiled in the mirrior after I spit out the remaining toothpaste foam. I made sure to be careful not to get my toothbrush dirty as I placed it into a container and set it on the counter. My mellow golden eyes flickered up to the small mirrior to see the black haired, pale, Ella. My peach colored lips cracked a small smile then I walked across the hall.

I kicked the old moter of the computor and it started to run, making a weird grumbling sound as usual. The monitor started to light up. I waited impatiently before clicking the mouse around twenty times.

The computer grumbled more then the same old background popped up. A picture of my mom, dad, sister, and I at a waterfall. My mom and dad were holding hands and my sister had jumped onto my back. My facial expression was priceless. I smiled then clicked onto the internet icon.

I browsed around Youtube, checked my Instagram, then I went to log out when I saw an add for a bookstore.

Being the insane bookworm I am, I clicked on it. My eyes scanned the computer when the page loaded. a variety of books appeared on a page with bright colors. My cursor scanned the page when I hit a category that said "legends and Myths". I clicked on it then saw several categories like vampires, werewolves, ghosts, bigfoot, and more.

Clicking on werewolves, I waited then I clicked on the first book, "Wolf Men." I started to soak in the information and read. This was really interesting. I scanned it some more until the computer made some weird noise then the router started to get hot. The computer shut of fully as I was trying to read the last bit of it. It shut off then cooled off.

"No!" I yelled and kicked the router several times. "Turn on!" I grumbled then flopped back into the chair, sighing heavily. My eyes turned to look out the window, catching a glance of something. I shrugged it off the turned back around. Right at the exact moment I turned around, my phone went off.

Jumping in surprise, I stood up then jogged into my room, grabbing the touch screen I got for my nineteenth birthday, and slid the answer bar. Pressing the phone up to my ear, I started to talk.

"Hello?" I said into the phone, shakily.

"Ella? Are you okay?" My father's voice rang throughout the phone. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

"Yeah. I'm fine."

"Are you sure? You sound sort if scared."

"I'm fine, dad. The phone startled me, that's all."

"All right. I'm just calling to tell you that I won't be home for a couple of days."

"What? Why?"

"Boss' making me work more because half of our crew is gone. I get paid more for it though."

"Oh. So I have the place to myself?"

"Yep. I'll call you when I get a chance."

"Okay. Bye, dad."

"Bye, Ells." and with that, we hung up. I set the phone down and ran a hand through my hair, taking out my headband and throwing it onto the bed. I sighed then I looked at the clock. It was already about two o'clock. Man, I spent a lot of time on that article about werewolves.

I shook my head then sat down on my bed, running a hand along the black bedspread. I comepletely zoned out until I heard a knock at the door.

I zoned back in and started towards the door, going down the creaky steps. I passed through the living room that held a beige love seat and my dads brown recliner, then opened the small brown door.

A small breeze hit my face and a small yellow sticky note flapped around while holding onto my door.

I snatched the sticky note off of my door and started to read it.

"Come to the clearing in the forest. Come alone. If you don't come or if you bring someone, I will hurt your family. Hurry. Your time is running out." I read softly then looked up, wiping the hair out of my face. My eyes scanned the area then I looked back down at the note.

I looked back up and smashed the note into my pocket. I broke into a sprint off my porch, slamming the door behind me.
