Jackie called her best friends Gianna, Sammy, and Sofia. She asked them if they wanted to go shopping and they all said yes. She told her parents where she was going and before getting their consult, ran out the house.

She went over to Gianna's house where the other girls awaited her. They took the bus to the mall and caught up on gossip.

"Omg so you think you father pushed your mother into the lamp and that's why she was on the floor?!?!?" Gianna exclaimed.

"Gianna shut up you are so loud!" Sofia yelled.

"And so are you." Sammy mumbled.

"I heard that!" Sofia said while giving her a glare.

"Girls stop." Jackie tried to say while laughing.

Then the tension broke and the next thing you knew all the girls were laughing.

"You know what you should do." Sammy said.

"What?" Jackie asked.

"Go rebel."

"Yaasss." Sammy and Sofia excitingly said at the same time.

"What do you mean "go rebel"?"

The girls looked at Jackie with the "really" look and then Sammy began to explain.

"So if you become rebellious against your parents, they will see how their decision has a bad effect on you. Then they will realize that what they did was wrong and will decide not to get a divorce!"

Jackie just stared at her like she was out of her mind.

"You are crazy. Did you know that?"

"I know."

"I mean it's the craziest idea ever but I'll try it."

"Squeeaaall" went all the girls.

"Perfect." Gianna said as if a light bulb had just appeared over her head. "We are going to the mall so we can get you clothes that'll make you seem rebel."

"Great idea Gianna." Sofia patted her on the back.

They were at the mall and already in a store. The girls were looking around to see what they could find. They wanted somethings that was rebellious but still represented Jackie and at the same time wasn't too inappropriate. They found the perfect outfit. It was a short purple skirt with a long sleeved crop top.

"This is perfect!" Gianna exclaimed while plastering a huge grin across her face.

Today Sofia was hosting a party to celebrate Jackie going rebel. It was from 6:00pm to 1:00am. This party lasted 3 hours past Jackie's curfew. She knew this but decided to go anyway. Plus she had the perfect outfit to wear. She took out the outfit that her friends picked out for her and stared at it.

Should I really do this? Jackie thought to herself.

Stop worrying. A voice inside her head said.

Jackie got ready and threw on her outfit. It was only 5:30pm so she still has time. She decided to spend that time to go help Sofia finish setting up.

She went down stairs and her parents told her to make sure she was back by 10. Jackie froze in her tracks and replied with an "okay" but felt guilty.

Jackie was now at the party having the time of her life. She looked over at the clock and saw that it was 12:30am. She thanked Sofia for the party and told her that she had to go and left the party. She ran as quickly as she could home and opened the front door. The lights were off which was a good thing because that meant that Jackie could sneak in without her parents noticing. But wait, she wanted her parents to know that she was going rebel so she told herself that she would make a lot of noise.

When she turned the lights on and saw her father reading the newspaper, and her mother reading a magazine. She knew she was busted.

"Where have you been all this time?!?!? I told you to be back by 10 but you decide to come back at 12:45!!!!"

"Mom, I'm sorry but it was a great party and I lost track of time."

Her mother looked over at her father for back up but he just stood at Jackie with a look that read "shame on you."

"Listen!!" her mother began to shout "You are grounded for 2 weeks. Oh and by the way, your father and I were talking about getting back together and how our decision was wrong, but since you think you can do whatever you want and since your father just wants to sit there like a pig,"

"Hey!" her father yelled in defense.

"Then you and I are now definitely moving."

"WHAT!!! THIS IS SO UNFAIR!!!"

"Well you should have thought about that before coming home late."

Jackie ran up to her room and realized that going rebel was the wrong thing to do. Her parents could have been back together but she had to ruin it, and now she was going to move.
