When she left Hollywood Studios, Cara was driven around L.A. Through the cab window, Cara gazed at the tremendously tall buildings. Her eyes gleamed with awe from the brilliant lights. The cab stopped at a glamorous arrays of mansion-like apartments. An assistant escorted her to the top 3rd floor of the Plaza. The money she will earn from her films will pay off the rent.
Cara's mouth dropped open as her eyes took in the luxurious apartment. Sparkling new jewelry, expensive makeup, and a new closet of brand new, fashionable clothes stunned her as she entered the room. Cara happily danced and twirled across the marble tile, admiring her reflection in the large windows. The lights of L.A. was ever so magical. She stopped as she stared at her reflection.
She poked her small nose and brushed out her long, thick, wavy, brown hair that reached to the end of her torso, and her bright brown eyes gleamed back at her. She laughed as she twirled one last time before jumping in her silk bed, and into a peaceful sleep. The next morning, Cara's determination and hope was in focus as she returned back to the studios. Today, Cara was anticipating the role Regino said he would cast for her. Her adrenaline was pulsing through her as she entered the kingdom of movie magic.
Cara wore a creme coat, but was dressed in a short blue dress, black heels, and her hair long and wavy. While walking through the gleaming streets, there was possibly a million people here touring the studios. Cara looked up at each high and tall studio buildings, as thousands of filming crew, staff members, and chattering people passed by her. While slowly walking on the cobbled street square, a group of wild, crazed fans rushed past her, startling Cara.
As the shrieking fans passed her, Cara shrugged their squeals as she tried to find the main film studio. Once again, Cara managed to politely make her way through the sea of people.
Then, she saw him...
Cara's eyes slowly fell upon a handsome, tall, and strongly fit young man, with perfect tan skin, light brown hair, and beautiful dark brown eyes. She gasped softly as time seemed to slow down around her. Cara knew she had seen him before. Than as she remembered, it hit her like a lightening bolt. Her heart pounded suddenly.
Cristhian Orabría, Hollywood's most handsome and talented heart throb. He played the brave, fearless, Prince Caspian in the Caspian Nights film series. Now just turned 20, Cristian had every girl in the nation falling for him at first sight. Even though Cara was never the type to be wowed so easily and she never really believed in finding her Prince Charming, her heart spoke otherwise.
Cristhian had a circle of guards and his manager around him. Cristhian walked from the opposite street walk ahead of her. He had a slightly bored look as he continued to nonchalantly walk with his guards shuffling around him. A red light in the center of the large city square the wide groups of people stopped as cars sped by. As he gazed in Cara's path, his eyes rested on her for a moment. Cara's heart pounded hard in her chest as she felt frozen in place.
Oh no... What do I do? Do I wave? No, don't. My heart's beating so fast that I can't breathe...After another quick moment, to her great surprise, Cristhian smiled perfectly wide and bright at her. Just at Cara. Her spirit rose. Inside, she was bursting with light. Out of shyness, she quickly gave him a small smile that held more meaning than words can tell.
For once in her life, Cara felt like a princess meeting her prince before riding towards their happily ever after. The popular actor's manager and security were trying to fend off the boy crazed fans. As the bright lights turned green, everyone commenced forward from all four directions. On the wide street sidewalk, even more crazed fans rushed from behind her. Cara gasped as she was almost shoved side to side from the stampede of screaming girls.
Cara was tossed around and almost went into a slight twirl and as the fans nearly swept her away, Cara suddenly tripped. As she gasped in shock, she felt as if time slowed again. It all happened so fast that heaven could have missed it. She closed her eyes quickly. Instead of hitting the ground, she felt strong arms around her. Cara's cheek landed on something firm and warm. As she opened her eyes, she slowly looked at her rescuer. It was as if all her dreams had came true in a matter of seconds. As she looked up, she froze. The one who caught her in such a strong embrace was the Prince Caspian. But no. She saw his true, beautiful self.
Cristhian.
His sparkling eyes peered deep into hers with concern. He smiled bright.
"Are you okay, princesa?" His deep, warm voice was like smooth honey. He had a cute, little Latin accent that was felt like a Spanish rose.
Princess? Me? A princess? Oh gosh... She blushed.
She nodded slowly as her hands unintentionally gasped his dress shirt. Cara felt Cristhian's strong chest muscles and she blushed. His arms were around her, comforting but protecting. Cara felt happy beyond words but she was also surprised out of her mind.
They stared into each other's eyes, feeling a bright spark between them. Cristhian was still smiling that perfect smile of his. Cara blushed so hard she might've looked like a rosey cheeked baby
Paparazzi appeared out of no where and started flashing pictures. Cara gasped and gently but quickly pulled away from Cristhian's embrace. He gazed at her in confusion. Cara looked around at the large crowd that had formed around them. They were in the middle of the open street. Feeling embarrassed, Cara shielded her face as the bright flashes from the camera nearly blinded her. The chattering of the crowd and the squealing from the fans around them was concealing over her.Cristhian's only focus was on Cara. In the moment Cara was about to turn and walk away, he grasped her hand.
"Hey! Wait, hang on! What's your name?" Cristhian's eyes twinkling. She gasped softly and she looked back at him. His eyes were begging to know who she was. Cara knew that being caught in a scandal wouldn't impress Regino into giving her a role. There was no time to react. In the slowed moment of Cristhian holding her hand, Cara smiled as she squeezed lightly back.
"Thank you, but I have to go." She whispered to him as she let go of his hand. She turned quickly and ran through the huge, moving crowd. Cristhian's guards surrounded him but he still looked in her direction before being pulled away into a limousine. As the fans tried to chase after him, Cara ran as her hair flowed through the wind. Before she knew it, she rain straight through the doors of the main film studio.
Out of breath, Cara was welcome at the heavenly scene of Hollywood once again.
"Cara! There you are, my darling!" Loraine called as she ran up to Cara and hugging her.
"Loraine, I've missed you!" Cara hugged back.
Loraine held her at arms length, peering at Cara up and down. "My, you look amazing! Now, come, dear. Regino requested for just for you for a meeting in his office!"
Her manager linked arms with her as the passed through the long corridors of the fantastic studio that resembled the inside of a castle.
The news lifted Cara's hope as she had an official, first meeting with a famous Hollywood director. Her mind was racing as she entered the director's office. She had so much in her head. But mostly, she smiled at the thought of Cristhian, who never left her mind since the first moment they met.
