"Athena! Make sure you have everything!" my mother called up to me in my empty room. Since we were moving across the globe we didn't really get to bring much, we've sold everything that we don't need and are moving into a fully furnished house in the outskirts of town, far from most muggles. I have yet to take in the fact that I'm actually leaving, I've spent my whole life within these walls, the light blue paint in my room was insanely chipped and the floor was ripped up from practicing magic, even though I wasn't supposed to be doing so but hey, what people didn't know wouldn't hurt them. This summer had become the weirdest one of them all, spending time with my friends before I left and trying to postpone the whole moving thing. I took one last good look around the room before finally closing the door and heading downstairs to see my over-excited mother.

"I don't see why we can't just stay here, we've been perfectly fine for 13 years why can't we just stay?" I poked as she gathered the last few things that she needed. She simply just shook her head and gave me 'the look' I accepted the fact that she wasn't open to reasoning as she grabbed my hand and apparition, so before I knew it I was standing in the middle of the living room of my new house. It wasn't as nice as our giant house back in Canada, but it was, uh, rustic? small? We were out in the middle of God knows where and now I'm supposed to start all over. My mom's eyes were bright and alive

"Oh Athena isn't it lovely" she ran straight to the kitchen to get a better look. "It's so cute!" its something I followed her into the tiny kitchen to see stairs spiraling upward. "The bedrooms are upstairs, there's a few so take your pick," she said absentmindedly, still obsessing over our new shack. I rolled my eyes and grabbed my box that was brought earlier and dragged it up the stairs to find a room. there had to be a million floors to this place, and each room was as unappealing as the next. Eventually, I thought I had exhausted all my options and would have to settle, so I began making my way back down the stairs to re-examine when one of my books fell out of my box. I cursed to myself and went to pick it up then I saw it had landed right in front of a door. Knowing every horror movie ever you don't go in the creepy door, but something about it just pulled me to it. It looked as if it held the key to everything I didn't or would ever know, it was taller than the rest of the doors, made from rich wood from the wisest and eldest oak tree but it looked a little too dark to be oak exactly, there was a pattern engraved in the door, a bunch of lines with some circles. I brushed it off as a design concept and slowly reached for the door handle and gave it a subtle push, only to find the door creek open and reveal what laid inside.

The room was massive, a window was on the west side of the room, allowing the glow of the setting sun to enter the room illuminating the space with a pink glow. A bed lay in the corner by the window with a chest at the foot, everything was very rustic. A beautiful wooden piano was against the far wall with a stool, I couldn't help but smile, I absolutely loved music, creating it or just playing it. "Athena can you come downstairs please!" my mother shouted at the top of her lungs. I placed my box down onto the bed and left the room, climbing all the way back down the stairs to hear new voices in our kitchen, British voices.

"it will be a tricky adjustment, but I'm sure she'll be fine dear" The voice continued to speak to my mom as I entered the kitchen to see at least 7 new people in my house. They all wore the same red hair, freckles lined each face as did warm smiles when I entered the room.

"Oh there she is, Honey meet the Weasleys, they're our new neighbors," she said warmingly as each member of the family came to greet me.

"Oh hello dear! Welcome to our side of the world, I know things are a bit strange but you'll get on just fine" she pulled me in for a hug which I was surprised by, but none the less, embraced.

"Thank you, Mrs. Weasley" I replied, she let go of her hug, she grabbed my shoulders and looked at me

"Oh call me Molly, dear and that's Arthur." she signaled over too er husband, I nodded as the next member came up to me and gave me a hug, she looked about a year younger than me, very pretty and a huge smile.

"Hi, I'm Ginny! I'm so excited there's finally another girl around here" she laughed and pulled me in for a hug, I couldn't help but giggle at the comment.

"Trust me I'm just as excited" she was pushed out of the way by the two older boys in the room, twins but there were slightly different things to pick apart from them, the one on the left had a slightly shorter face with a scar on his eyebrow, the other had a bit of a skinnier face and crooked smile but not crooked enough for it to be ugly.

"Well hello there," the one on the right said.

"I'm George," the other said

"I'm Fred"

"Athena" I laughed awkwardly at them.

"So, a big move from Canada Eh?" Fred laughed at his brother's dumb joke as Molly merely smacked his head.

"Just laugh and move along, they get louder when you ignore them, I'm Ron" The last of the kids came up and introduced himself, giving me a wave with an awkward smile.

"Noted, thanks" I gave him a warm smile, they all seemed nice, slightly overbearing but nice.

"So dear you went to Ivermorny is that right?" I nodded at Molly who had now taken a seat and apparently interest in my life. "What house were you in?"

"Thunderbird," I noticed Arthur perk up

"Ah, Thunderbird! What a wonderful house, it's said to represent the mind of the wizarding body"

"Soul, actually" I corrected him shyly

"Oh yes yes, and it is said it favors adventurers, you must be a restless one" my mom laughed

"That she is"

"Do you still need school supplies, you know it starts soon" I groaned and earned a few laughs from the room.

"Yeah we don't have anything yet"

"Well we're going to Diagon alley tomorrow, I'm sure we could bring you along" I looked at my mom who responded for me

"That would be wonderful, thank you"
